I wonder if I may have your permission to use your cemetery photo on my family website. Check it out at http://freienmuth-shortridge.com/ernst/buchheim-cemeteries.html. This is how I'd be using the photos and obituaries I find on Find A Grave, with 'used with permission' in the caption.

DeCody, Thank you very much for your interest in Albert. I received your edits, revisited Albert's memorial, and remember while at the cemetery about the large Harris monument, then seeing only his headstone -- as if plans may have changed as life moved on. Maybe there are some unmarked burials? This is a beautiful cemetery that Albert is in; I absolutely love visiting there. Normally I research edits and links before I make them, but I trust you are familiar with the Harris family? Loretta

First of all....THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH FOR YOUR SERVICE TO OUR GREAT NATION !!!!
Secondly, I am TRYING to get a complete survey of Unity done. As you probably know, this will not be an easy task to complete. I have spoken with two of the folks over the cemetery. Neither of them have any idea how many are actually buried here. One did tell me that they no longer bury in the oldest part (where most of the Webbs are buried) because they are not sure if those flat stones mark actual graves or not. I remembered your name when I saw it from some of my research on my great aunt, Lorena Frances Roberts Bankson. I am up to 839 burials thus far. This number includes several that do not have a marker or any info of any kind. I was wondering if you might be able to offer any information at all.

Would you remove the bio from our ancestor that you placed in the flower section? I have copied it to the bio section on his page.

My name is Ricky Hardwick from Illinois. My mother was Ruby Davis and her mother was the daughter James S. Hale. My grandmothers name was Myrtle Hale. She came from around Bugtussel Tenn. I have received a picture of James from my cousin. Would you mind if I post it on his find a grave. Or I can send it to you and you post it.

Good Evening Compatriot Marble,
Thank you from the information on you Patriot Ancestor Joseph Marble who is laid to rest here in Vermont. That is GREATLY appreciated. Have you visited our Web Site and specifically our Rev War Patriots Laid to rest in Vermont listings which may be accessed thru the Monuments and Memorial page? Those listings are of the Findagrave.com Memorial that we control - maintain for accuracy of content, and content. Might you consider transferring the maintenance of Joseph Marble's Memorial to us for our perpetual care. If so it would be greatly appreciated.
Yours in Patriotism,
Herman C. Brown,
Vermont Society President (2010-2012)
Vice-President General, New England District (2013-2014)

I ran across your Marble Ancestors Database when I was searching for my Shafer (my family Americanized their name) ancestors in Thallichtenberg, Germany. You have a few Schafers in
your tree. I wondered if you have any more information on other children and the descendants of William David Schafer. You can e-mail me at firstname.lastname@example.org THANKS!
