In the spring of 2010, I became interested in finding out more about my father's family. My g-g-g-g grandfather, John P Lyle, settled in Paulding Co, Georgia, sometime before 1840. It is thought that he received land in the 1832 land lottery of the Cherokee lands. I worked on the LYLE family tree and then started looking for the graves of my extended family. I spend the majority of my time looking for graves in Paulding County and the counties that surround Paulding, such as Haralson, Polk, Bartow, Carroll, Douglas, Cobb and Cherokee. I have found this to be a great way to fill in those extra hours I now have in my life as a retired person. I have to give credit to my brother, Tom 'CC' Lyle, and to my 1st cousin once removed, Dianne Eberhardt, for allowing me to use their genealogy research information in several of my FAG memorials. ____________ೋ ღ☃ღೋ ____________
Jesse E. Waddell Do you have any further genealogical information on Jesse E. Waddell? I am a maternal descendant of Jesse through his son William Jesse Waddell and I'm very interested in founding out some of my maternal ancestry.
re: Charles James Chambers Thanks for the photos. I combined the Marker Application with your photo of the oringal marker because of the 5 photo limit. Someone else already added the second marker so I couldn't use yours. But yours is better. Thanks
