My journey through my family history began as a project in 7th grade. At that point I had some names, and some locations. Through the years I have come to know so much more about these people that allowed me to be here today, and I'm passing those bits of information on to my own children.
When I'm not traipsing through cemeteries taking pictures or looking for my ancestors, I am an elementary school teacher and administrator. One of my favorite field trips is one where we take the 2nd graders to a local cemetery to find the "famous" people we've learned about in Fort Collins history. For many of the students, it is their first trip to a cemetery.
This is all about connecting families, and documenting history for future generations. If you have information you'd like me to add to a memorial, just let me know. If you'd like to take over management of any of the people I'm not related to, I'd be glad to transfer management over to you.
**If you notice that some of my pictures are sideways or upside down, I'm guessing you're viewing them on an Apple product. I sometimes will use my iPhone if I don't have my camera with me, and for some reason it rotates pictures even if I rotate and save them correctly. | |

Judson I'm sorry it has taken so long to get back with you. My husband broke his elbow and has been in a cast and I'm going in the hospital Tues. for a hip replacement so I'm going to be out of circulation for awhile. Haven't forgotten about you. Hi Judson,
If you don't mind, could I take over management for 3 of your memorials. John Paul Ballensky (75690498)is my Great Grandfather. Pvt Dick Ballensky (74922957) is John Paul's son (my Grand Uncle). Cora Bray Ballensky (85199284)is Dick's wife. IN addition, there is an Edna Katherine Murphy (46150013) that is also John Paul's daughter (my Grand Aunt). Edna Katherine is not managed by you (or me). I'll need to get with that manager and see about a transfer or at least a link to John Paul Ballensky.

Judson,
You have a memorial for a Casper Peppler find a grave #101904883
The date of birth that you gave was 3 Mar 1838 with his death as 7 Aug 1908. Also there is a notation that there is not a headstone. I was wondering if this was all of the information that was on the Cemetery Record. I am trying to find some information about Casper Peppler born 29 Feb 1839 in Russia and died 7 Aug 1908 in Fort Collins, Colorado. He was married to Dorthy Koch or Cook. Do you have any additional information about this memorial.
