|Paul Andrews||RE: Obituaries for Anna & Chester Work|
I am a member of the Lancaster Mennonite Historical Society. The LMHS website has an obituary listing on their website that is available to all. Only members can access the actual obituaries. Unfortunately the obituaries do not show the source (probably Lancaster Intelligencer) or the date of publication. They do add the date of death.
I edit the obits to omit the names of children when I know some or all are alive. In the Work case, both sons are dead. I have their obits but do not know where they are buried.
For the Andrews and Wiggins families of Lancaster, I try to add links (to parents and spouses) and obits. Thanks to you and others, many people appear on Find A Grave from the Lancaster area.
|Donna Butler Sheaffer||RE: Tobias Siegrist|
I called the cemetery yesterday and spoke to the caretaker. He doesn't know anything about the Siegrist farm being part of the cemetery. It's possible she was actually buried on the farm. Some people do that. He couldn't find a record of her being in the cemetery. Donna

Dear Tom, I'm not sure but I'll get back to you on this. Donna

Thanks! I will see if I know the creator, and contact them. I really appreciate your work.
|Cindy K. Coffin||Susan Martin marker|
One of the memorials you created for Concord Cemetery was Susan (Beeby) Martin's. I visited the cemetery last summer, but could not find her marker. Were you unable to find it also?
Susan was the first wife of Enoch P. H. Martin, and I did find his marker and those of his other wives... but nothing for Susan
|Stephanie Myers Landis||Barbara Myers|
Thanks for checking. I was hoping you had one in your files.

I am writing to you to see if you have a photo of the head stone of Barbara Myers June 14 1788 to July 26 1867 buried in New Providence Mennonite Cemetery. Her headstone, when last seen, was toppled and broken in half. If you have a photo, would you kindly add it to her memorial #15849230?

|Ray Allen Brabston||Brabson Family in PA|
Just so you know your work and efforts are appreciated - I have been following your additions of "Brabson" family members.
I live in Knoxville, TN
I follow Brabson / Brabston family lines grouped as:
Virginia to: Washington Co/Grainger/Sevier/ TN
Mississippi to: Adams/Warren (came from PA)
Pennsylvania: Mostly Lancaster Co.
May I use your excellent photos and info in my personal "Family Tree Maker" software?
Do you know if there is a there a public source for birth/death records for Lancaster Co., PA ?
Thanks again for your excellent work.
Ray Allen Brabston
|PATTY McFERREN-BLANTON & JR BLANTON||Sarah J Shoemaker an d Sarah J Fickes Shoemaker|
Spouse for Sarah J Shoemaker (1853-1901):
J A Shoemaker (1851 - 1914)
Spouse fgor Sarah J Fickes Shoemaker
Samuel Shoemaker (1835 - 1900)
Their dates of birth death differ also. Possibly, these two are related and one named after the other ???
Anyhow, due to the difference in from/to dates and spouses, will leave the Sarah J Shoemaker alone.
Many thanks, anyhow!
|G. Flanders||Jacob and Susan Hart|
I first want to thank you for the pictures you have posted to their memorials.
I was contacted by another contributor regarding the cemetery they were in. After reading the message you sent them I must thank you again for the information on the correct cemetery. And I apologize for not answering your message, but I never got it.
I have made corrections to the cemetery. I am sorry for the confusion, but my family records only said Mount Nebo, not Mount Nebo United Methodist.
I really do appreciate all you have done. You are very kind to be of so much help.
