I've been doing genealogy since 1988. I love walking through cemeteries, imagining the lives of the people I pass.|
Most of the pages I post are for people to whom I am not related. (the ones I am connected to usually have a photo of the person added). These "extra" people are ones from local (and not so local) cemeteries that my husband & I photograph their stones and I enter them on FAG, trying to link as many as I can so the families are brought back together after all this time. I do lots of research to accomplish this and I hope I add correct information. I love to connect these people and I'm always thrilled when something comes together, either through the census, obits, marriage records, a family genealogy, Rootsweb entries, or even "social" news in an old newspaper. I hope I find "homes" with descendants for all these people. Please ask for a transfer if you are related.
If you find someone you are related to and would like to take over their page, please request a transfer through the EDIT option, on the particular individual's page. Select "Suggest" and type in your request, which will then send me an email that will be linked to the person.
as an added comment--I always try to guessimate a person's birth year, based on age at death, so it obviously is not always correct. I just feel that a person searching for an ancestor will be less confused with an estimated birth year, rather than having to paw through other entries with no year listed at all.

|Adam Stein||Thanks for transfer of memorials|
Would like to thank you for the quick turn around in regards to the James Baumgartner and family memorials.
One question though. I only see years on the tombstone, yet you list complete birth and death dates for all 3 memorials. Did these come from the cemetery? If not, where did you get these dates?

Thank you for posting the obituary for Delia, buried Union Cemetery, Livonia, New York. Delia is the g-g-grandmother of my husband and we had not known of her remarriage after husband Edgar's passing. It was good to see, then found census, then found an address on Spring Street....

|Glenn||RE: Hugh Merlan Reinhard's headstone photo|
Hi Cheri. I posted three photos to Laura May Kohlmetz Reinhard's memorial. Interestingly, she is not buried next to her husband ... if you look at the third photo shared (the wider angle one) you can spot Laura's marker in the foreground to the right of the flag. Her husband's marker appears slightly above and to the right of the larger Kohlmetz family stone.

Thank you very much for the memorial transfer of Pauline Norcott! It's so nice to come across folks like you who are willing to easily transfer memorials to family members without requesting intricate details of one's relationship!
