I have been actively researching my family lines since 2004 and have found so much interesting information. I have found cousins I never knew I had and met many wonderful & helpful people on this site as well as on Ancestry.com. |
I wasn't much of a graveyard visitor until I lost my husband, who was only 36, due to leukemia and a few short years later lost my infant grandson due to Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome (born with only 3 chambers to his heart instead of 4). Now, I have lost my very best friend, my mother, to a rare blood disorder that brought about Leukemia and lung cancer. Experiences in life certainly have a way of changing your perspective about things.
If you have the time, please stop by and visit the memorials of these 3 very special people in my life.

I must say, I truly admire those volunteers who have adopted and transcribed entire cemeteries & photographers who go the extra mile to fulfill requests.
Transfer requests are welcome for all who are not in my family line and please feel free to use any photo that I have taken.

Your welcome, glad to help out, and sure that'll be fine. I've also found some more Nipper family members who are buried close to Jane by the way.

Dianne, that was way too confusing for me, I just transferred it to you. Sorry I couldn't be more help.

Thank you for your comment. I have transferred the headstone photo to the older memorial and deleted mine.

Thank You for such a quick response - I will be changing my names again by the end of the week, and will put up a couple of yours...I wish that our profile space were much larger, I could get more up and still tell a little bit of a story for each. I've noticed that the names that get visited the quickest always have even a small intro - mentioning if it is a child, a recent passing, a veteran, etc. - so, I promise, you're on my little 'top sheet' for the next set of names. =) Thank You for your thoughts regarding my son and myself/our medical issues; that's truly the reason I started working with this site, I was trying to track a genetic disease in our line. I have only been on here eighteen months and while, absolutely (I'm blunt and don't ignore the negative) there have been folks who contacted me and were not happy I was putting our medical history on a public site (I still do not understand the problem, if you google my full name, you'll see that I have been writing about it for mass market publications for years)...anyhow, there have also been others who wrote that my pages helped them to get a lead on their own issues which may not have been 'tracked' too well until now. So I feel like it is helping...and the kindness of people on here is astonishing; again, I must admit that my son especially has been treated not so kindly because of his mental and physical disabilities, and it's good to know that there are in fact total strangers who are hoping for the best for Gannon. =) Take Care, and I will update you in just a few days, I promise - Hugs, RCP and Gannon Blue
