|Kitty Lambert-Rudd||RE: regarding George A Weidner #74766241|
I also am not related. I (like you) just research and post.
I try (as I find things) to get them up on the memorials they go with so they don't get lost in the myriad of stuff out there....
I would LOVE to find the obits for many of my family members as they often contain info you won't find anywhere else.

I have been given some items on loan to post to Find A Grave and one of the items is Mr Weidners Obituary.
I wanted to send it along to you so that you could post it directly to his memorial page if you wish instead of it being lost in the tributes at the bottom.

Thank you so much for adding this photo. My father, sister and brother are all in the Angola Forestlawn cemetery. I think it is wonderful that there are kind people who are willing to do this. If you could transfer this to me I would very much appreciate it. Linda
|GV||Commemorative stele in memory of some American soldiers who died during the Normandy landings.|
I am French and quite impressed since a very early age by the events surrounding D Day, and by the tremendous testimony they impart, I am the initiator, for the 70th birthday of D-DAY, of a commemorative stele in memory of some American soldiers who died during the Normandy landings. Particularly sensitive to the value of service to others, I have always felt the urge to transmit to the younger generations the memory of those valiant soldiers who, thanks to the selfless sacrifice of their lives, took part in the tremendous movement which lead to the liberation of Europe from Nazi oppression.
As a complement to this commemoration, I have written a book both in French and English which tells the story of some of those men.
Would you please allow me to use the pictures of Anthony M Wincenciak, J in my book?
My e-mail address is firstname.lastname@example.org

Thank you for the headstone photographs. I am pleased to have them recorded at findagrave because the stones are showing the wear and tear of the elements.

Noticed a difference on the date of birth entered for Mina Schenk, Memorial# 77254961. The picture shows 29 Oct 1814 but was entered as 1844.
Thank you so much for posting this picture as I've long been searching for this lady!
