I've been interested in genealogy for a long time and thoroughly enjoy the time I spend in cemeteries, whether it's for my own benefit or someone else's. |
The family names that I am primarily interested in are Sanders, Kirkpatrick, Hunt, Froman, Gist, Taylor, McPherson, Adams & Haddock.
Feel free to use my headstone pictures -- no royalties required. If you have any additional information that you would like added to memorials that I manage, let me know. I will credit you for the info. I'm also happy to transfer memorials to relatives/friends who want to manage them.
My ultimate goal is to help photographically document all of the cemeteries in my area so that the existence of the people buried there is available to future generations and to ensure that people who can't visit on their own can still see a picture of the stone.
-- Cedar Lawns (done)
-- Kirkland Cemetery (Done. Many, many unmarked graves in this cemetery. Many stones very deteriorated.)
-- Redmond Community Cemetery (Done)
-- Sunset Hills (done)
-- Hillside and Upper Hillside (both Issaquah) I have walked both cemeteries, adding more recent memorials and looking for stones not yet photographed.
Note re Kirkland Cemetery: This is a heavily treed cemetery and many of the stones are covered in moss. If there is a particular stone that you would like re-photographed, feel free to let me know and I will see what I can do to clean up the stone.
Although I have marked a cemetery as done, new graves may have been added and/or I may have missed a couple, despite my best efforts to be organized.

I notified Find-A-Grave and suggested that they notate that she is in an unmarked grave next to her parents and that your photo shows where her grave is. I truly do appreciate your time and efforts on this.

I am so sorry for the late response. Life has been a bit complicated and I'm finally getting caught up on 'urgent' emails. Thank you so much for your assistance with this. I really appreciate your time and efforts on my behalf.
Once again so sorry in the late response, but that doesn't mean I don't appreciate your help with this any less than I do. Psssttt....too bad the living relatives get in the way sometimes of researching the dead ones. lol

Your info has been added, both Sunset Hills and
the plot location.

Yes, we cannot be absolutely sure where they died but VERY high probability it was WA. OR could just leave them all blank.

You are very welcome. Spent six hours at this cemetery. These were the only Adams I found. May be more as I only covered two sections. I will be returning to Mountain View soon. Larry

Thank you for your reply. I don't thnk I sent you a thank you before. For some reason, findagrave is not notifying me that I have messages!

Mildred Boyden (127223948) was married to the stepson of my father's cousin. Her husband was Terry E Boyden who passed in 1999 in Snohomish County. Do you happen to know if he is buried in the same cemetery as Mildred?

Thanks for the attempt. I have sent a correction to the owner to add a note.

I appreciate the picture, but this is the wrong Stiles R. Nettleton, it is a picture of his fathers headstone.

His middle name is the same as my great grandmother's. I had opportunity to speak to Dr. Harry before he passed. Yes I am related and would appreciate a transfer. My last name is Harry.
