I live in Grand Rapids, Michigan. I enjoy photographing tombstones for FindAGrave. I have even been known to dig stones out of the ground. :)|
I do not consider my photographs "copyrighted". I post them for the sole purpose of helping other genealogists in their family research. However, if you post the photos on ancestry or another website, photo credit would be appreciated. :)
My goal is not to impress others by high numbers. I create many memorials just so they are documented, and try to add pertinent information to them. I'm more than willing to transfer these memorials to someone who can take better care of them, as long as they are not my relatives.
Surnames I am researching: Solomon-Haberman (Jennings Co. IN & Saline Co. MO); Stoneking-Livingston-Long (Greene Co. PA & Tyler Co. WV); Wagaman-Turner (Missouri, Kansas, Washington); Pannekoek/Cook-DeVoogd-Waterloo (Kent Co. MI); LePard-Densmore (Kent, Ionia & Barry Co., MI); Kirby-Payne (Howard Co. MO).

Hi Kathy, Some how I deleted the wrong messages and I deleted yours. If you could, resend me your answer with your Uncle's # . do You know where the Washington Church Cemetery located near Burton is located, Susan and I drove all around Bunker Hill and Burton north of 124 and South of H and couldn't find it. we even asked a few people around there and they didn't know either. Thanks Dave
|Eli Henthorn||Hey Kathy! How you doing?|
HeyKathy! It's Eli from facebook.
As it turns out we are cousins. And yes, through the Stonekings. Emma Stoneking married my great great great grandpa, Marion Elijah Thomas's brother, Absolam Thomas.
Talk to you later, cousin!

Glad I could help with the obituary. Any particular person or family you are looking for? May I suggest the web site from The Church of Latter Day Saints. https://family search.org
You kind of have to just check around but I will help you any way I can if your looking for certain people. They have a section of Ohio deaths from 1908 to like 1950 I think.

You're welcome. The image is showing rotated for you? It shows fine on my end. Weird. I'm working on an iPad. I do know how to rotate.

Hi Kathy, Thank you for your help. I had a misprint. Because of your photo and date I was able to link A. with other family members. Do you know the correct spelling of his first name? Every record seems to have a different spelling.
Thank you and keep up the great work you do at preserving history.
