I have been reviewing the Moore Mausoleum, and see that there are 2 for the same gentleman. The other one has a picture of Mr. Moore and the vault pic. It also has his name, William, and his dates of birth and death. So as not to confuse people, will you please delete yours. Thank you. I see someone else also noted this, and no name or dates of birth and death is not helpful when researching. Thank you.

Bornt is in 3 other times. Please post the photos to this first memorial # 65941192. The other 2 need deleted. When I see you have done this I will ask Mike and Cathy Meyers-Ro.. to delete theirs.

Hi I noticed you had a memorial out there for W. W. Moore in the Woodland cemetery. Yours was entered in 2011 and the original in 2008. Could you delete yours since there was another one entered before yours. Here is the one entered in 2008 before yours. Thanks Strato

I am working on a project to help locate the last resting places of many of our Civil War Veterans with ties to Vermont. Would you give me permission to use the photo you have for T.P. Joslin for the Vermont Civil War site? "www.vermontcivilwar.org"
Thank you for your consideration.

I found a marriage record for Mary when she married Wm.H.Ratigan. Her 1st husband was a Hammonds. So she was born about 1850? Mary Fisher is such a common name. She could have moved to be with her kids anywhere.

Hello again Roxanne,
Just a quick note to update the parents names for DR. William Henry Shaug for the bio... they were DR. John Michael Shawk, Find A Grave memorial # 85999852, and Susanna Stoy Shawk, Find A Grave memorial # 86000026 (not Elizabeth Stoy) Thank you for the updates and correction, I appreciate. Best Regards,

|Michael Shaug||William Henry Shaug|
My name is Michael Shaug and I am writing to you to give you some information on the grave you have listed in Farmington Iowa Cemetery for W. H. Shawk... this grave is of my 4 great grandfathers Dr. William Henry Shaug. His mother was Elizabeth Stoy, daughter of Dr. William H.Stoy of Lancaster, PA, and he was born in PA in 1792. William Henry was a veteran of the War of 1812 and held the rank of Ensign. He married Hannah Sherwood, a descendant of William Bradford of the Mayflower/Plymouth Colony, in 1818 in Perry County, Ohio, and he was the father of 16 children (that survived infancy), including DR. Charles Washington Shaug (my 3 great grandfathers), William Bradford Shaug, and Dr. Bennett S. Shaug, a Mexican War and Civil War veteran who is buried in Eldon Cemetery, Iowa. His wife, Hannah Sherwood Shaug died in 1878 in Livermore, CA. I hope this information will be helpful in updating the information for his grave, please feel free to contact me if you would like more information on him. Thank you!

Do not drive back there 75 miles, my dear. I thought you were close, but I would not ask that of you! It's really not that important. Mrs. Drake had remarried after William's death to my 3rd Grt- grandfather, Henry S, Wheatley - his 3rd marriage. He was 77 and she was 49. I was researching the Drakes to find any little clue I could find regarding Henry. Henry is buried in Ottumwa, Wapello Co., Iowa. I don't have a death date for him either. Kate was last living in Kansas in 1920 with her daughter, Myrtle Buckles, and family. So, looks like Myrtle took her mother back home to be buried near Myrtle's dad, but no death date is odd.
Thank you for much for the reply!
Best, Connie McKinley
