I have worked on my Genealogy surnames for over 40 years. I have many data banks with cemeteries cataloged. I may have a photo for you. I am from the Buffalo, NY, Erie County area. I also have an old NY Telephone Phone book available for look ups, but you must have an address. I take photos of houses, work places and cemetery photos. I am a Member of Evans Historical Society.|
My PHOTO POLICY:
-- All contributor-posted photographs are intended for PERSONAL USE, unless stated otherwise. As such, and to comply with current Copyright Law, you SHOULD NOT post (and/or republish) any contributor's cemetery or tombstone photos elsewhere without permission.
-- Regarding my cemetery and tombstone photographs, specifically, I will usually grant permission for unaltered OTHER USE when asked, but with the added stipulation that you provide a photo source citation (by referencing both "Find A Grave" [or www.findagrave.com] AND my profile name AND #47465058 in the Description) for any photographs taken from this website; for example, "Photo courtesy of Find A Grave Contributor: Linda C. Arthur (Orcutt), #47465058".
If you choose not to do this one SIMPLE thing, then I will work to have my copied photos removed - as I retain the copyright on ALL photographs that I have taken and posted. It is actually NOT acceptable to just indicate you took the photo from Find A Grave (since this site does not own the copyright to any of the contributor-posted photographs).
-- Note that you can provide a link back to the Find A Grave memorial, instead of copying (i.e. Ancestry's built-in "weblinks" function can be used for this exact purpose). This option works quite well.
-- Finally, Please do not download and then republish any family portraits I post, as these come from private family collections.

|Kristy Blanton||RE: Bertrand Orcutt|
Hi Linda, yes we would love to send it to you. All I need is the address. It will come from Missy Skinner. It is the strangest story. We are school bus drivers and she found the bible on her bus the last days of school. No one would claim it. She posted pictures of it on her Facebook asking what she should do with it. My dad was a Mason so I started checking thinking some child was too afraid of the wrath of their parents for taking the bible to speak up. It is very tattered but a treasure non the less. Still very strange how it ended up in Georgia on a school bus of all places! I'm glad it will be back with family. She said she would send it out Tuesday just give us the address to mail it to.

Hi Linda, I am in Lilburn Georgia and have found a bible that was presented to Bertrand Orcutt in 1925 when he became a Mason. I'm guessing this is a relative of yours and thought you might know the family that is in Georgia so it can be returned?
Thank you very much for taking and posting the photo.

|Ginny Kirk||Anthony and Josephine Lapiana|
Hello Linda, Today I am following up with a previous email I sent, Jan 19, regarding my uncle Anthony Lapiana #113720817, and his wife, Josephine Lapiana #113720841 at St. Anthonys Cemetery. He was born May 11, 1915. Any information on dates would be very much appreciated. A photo of the gravesite for both would be icing on the cake. Thank you in advance.
|Ginny Kirk||Anthony and Josephine Lapiana|
Hi, One this site you list Anthony and Josephine as being buried at St. Anthony's Cemetery, Farnham, Erie County, NY. No dates or photos seem to be available. I believe this to be my uncle Anthony and his wife Josephine.
What would be the procedure for me to get a photo of the gravesite and/or confirmation that they are indeed my family members.
Anthony born May 11, 1915, Josephine born 1922.
Thank you in advance for any help in this matter.
|Donna Markey||Rhoda A. Cookingham #68240295|
I have been trying to link up the Cookingham family (among others) at Cherry Creek Cemetery. Hiram W. Cookingham (#15594384) married first Rhoda/Roda unknown and later Lydia Grover (#15594385). There is a memorial for Rhoda (#15594388) at Cherry Creek and a corresponding listing for her on the Chaut. Co. website. However, there is also a rootsweb listing and a Findagrave memorial for her in Evans Center Cemetery, Evans Center, Erie, NY (#68240295). This is where she was born. They appear to be the same person; one grave could be a cenotaph. I have requested photos for both Findagrave memorials. Do you have any information that will help decide which place she is actually buried? The rest of that family is buried there in Cherry Creek. Thanks.
|Patricia W Drenten||John Tutko|
He's buried in Our Lady Help of Christians Cemetery, Cheektowaga, Erie County, New York, USA, with no birth and death. I've been an avid researcher since 1983 and easily found this man with the family links provided. He is John J. Tutko, Jr., born 11 Aug 1928 in New York, and died 19 March 2003 in Buffalo, Erie, New York. If the monument is older than that, his father's name is John Joseph (James) Tutko Sr, b 30 Jul 1897 in Jamesburg, New Jersey and died 12 Dec 1985 in Buffalo, New York.

Hi Linda, guess this is the only way to contact you, I would like to get permission to use the headstone photo of Martin and Alice Dingman and I think their son Willie Dingman on my family tree web site Backus Family History,
I always give full credit for any media used, and only family members will be able to see them. Thanks in advance!
