Bio and Links
Bio Photo I started researching my husband's family several years ago when we "inherited" all the photos, newspaper clippings, wedding invitations, etc. that his grandmother had kept. I didn't want to throw it all out because it was a lifetime of memories and keepsakes so I began to organize it on a genealogy database. Then I was "hooked"!

I accidently stumbled onto my cousin's posting on a message board while I was searching for information on MY family and this thing just took on a life of it's own.

I volunteered to take photos for Find-a-Grave after I requested and received some for my postings. It was so exciting to see the stones that I thought it would be nice to reciprocate. I also think I have a "sixth sense" or the deceased just "call to me" because since I started taking photos, I've been to cemeteries that I've never been to and I just seem to be able to walk right up to the grave! I've done it almost every time!

If I have posted something incorrectly or if I have posted something you feel is inappropriate, please email me or leave a message and I will correct it.

I am not related to any of the postings for Mifflin County, PA so I will gladly transfer memorials to a family member, no matter how distant. PLEASE USE THE EDIT TAB AT THE MEMORIAL TO MAKE THE TRANSFER REQUEST. It's much easier that way and all the necessary information is there.

Any photos I post here are free to be used by anyone. If you do not want me to use your photos, please do not claim my requests.

Ludwig/Ludwick
Hi! Thank you for all the useful information noted on Susanna Best Ludwig's memorial. She is my husband's gggg grandmother, via Susanna's son, Samuel. I was wondering, if you might happen to have a listing of Susanna's children and/or know where either she or Samuel are buried?

Any info would be gratefully received! It's a big help knowing she ended up in Kansas!

RE: Stahlmans
Thanks for the explanation. It was about the time that Find A Grave had that Denial of Service attack a week or so ago, so maybe my email never got to them.

If you would check her father's memorial, on the headstone you will see the name is spelled DEMORAY not Demory as you requested.

Regards

RE: David Greeley
The black glassy stone was hard to to avoid any reflection!! I'm starting to get the impression that we may all be related here - so all resemblances are not coincidental! Glad the photo helped.

Burke Stoughton
RE: Mt. Pleasant Cemetery - Chicora
I am not sure of this cemetery but if anyone would know it may be my cousin Lewis Stoughton...he is the district magistrate in chicora and has been interested in the area history for a long time. You can phone him by looking up the magistrates office number. I'm sure he would not be too unhappy. Tell him cousin Burke said hello.
