I have been doing genealogy for many many years and really like findagrave.com. I used to do just my own family but now do cemeteries where ever we go. If someone sees anything that is wrong or if you have anything to offer please contact me as I would be glad to help.|
Use the edit function for transfers. Include your contributor number so I get the right person.
Find-A-Grave guidelines for transfer requests are for direct relatives (spouse, siblings, parents, grandparents, and great-grandparents). If you are requesting a transfer, please be specific about your relationship. I generally will not transfer aunts, uncles or cousins. I am not willing to transfer my family members, but I will be happy to add information to their memorials.
I have no objection to transferring memorials of your close relatives. Please be sure to tell me the relationship. I will no longer transfer memorials to someone asking for all memorials of a surname to be transferred to them. There are lots of new members requesting transfers who are managing many more memorials than they have posted. Please keep in mind that this web site won't work if you aren't willing to go out and gather information that might help someone else!

Hi Penny. I'm curious about the Dillon graves you photographed in Whitefish Cemetery. Specifically headstone #91752377. Other than Michael and Elizabeth, were there others in that specific plot? They are distant relatives of my husband. Thanks!

Do you know anything about this Myrtle M Crowe that is buried at a cemetery in Spokane?
Do you live near Spokane and would be able to get her obituary? You could post the obituary on the Find A Grave page for Myrtle M Crowe.
I am trying to find out if she is the Myrtle M Davis Crowe who married Lewis Vincent Crowe. He is at 52274028 and is buried in Blackfoot, Idaho at Grove City Cemetery.
From an Iowa birth index Minnie Davis was born January 10, 1891 in Ross, Iowa.
On the Find A Grave page for Harlin L Davis 1887-1976 buried at Meridian Cemetery in Meridian, Idaho his obituary there said his sister was Myrtle Crowe of American Falls, Idaho.
On the Find A Grave page for Harlin's sister Emma L Davis Harmon 1881-1965 at the same cemetery her obituary says that her sister was Mrs. Myrtle M. Crowe of American Falls, Idaho.
Please let me know.

Penny - Thank you so much for the quick updates on the Mott family members who are buried in the Westmond Cemetery. It required a great deal of research work to finally find out anything about the Ethel Sandborn who is buried there. In my finally finding out WHO she was I did more research work and found out who her parents were and realized they were also buried in the Westmond Cemetery but listed under the name of Moot rather than Mott. All records I found for them are under the name of Mott rather than Moot.
Thanks again for the quick updates on their grave entries.
Thanks so much for taking the time to search for and take the picture of my great-aunt Alma Rinker's grave marker. How she died and is buried in Puyallup, Washington in 1915 and again in Kalispell, Montana in 1968 is something I will be working on for a while. Every little item that I can collect on her duel life brings me closer to discovering the truth.

Buried at Pinecrest Ceetery in Sandpoint, Bonner County, Idaho.
There is incorrect information on these entries. Also you should document where you got the picture from. That is a family picture that is in my possession handed down to me by my mother. Also instead of putting the death certificate information on the entry like you have done, you should let a family member post a bio on the couple. Just suggestions. I will send you and Find A Grave the correct information.
