I usually take the photo's, but really it is a family thing. The kids are respectful and enjoy reading the stones and finding the most unphotographed or finding the one we need the quickest. Cemeteries are nice quiet places to walk and pleasant for the kids. In short it is a great family time. I would be happy to transfer any unrelated(to me) memorials. Please just ask.|

You so nicely photographed William & Melinda Stoneman, at Freeport City Cemetery on 21 March 1914. You mentioned that this area was being cleaned up, which was visible in your photos. I have a special favor to ask regarding the brother of William Stoneman and his family. Isaac & Olive Stoneman along with 2 children Ella Florence & Emma Stoneman are all buried at Freeport City Cemetery also. Both brothers and their families died about the same time. My thought being that they my be buried close together in the same lot. I have photo requests up for them all. If you ever happen to be in the same general location would you please remember my "Stoneman" family and take a look to see if they are there. Isaac Stoneman's son Steuben Benjamin, aka Baron Stoneman died in 1910. If you see him there please let me know.

THANK YOU so very much for your beautiful photographs, and for bringing my attention to the dates on Melinda's tombstone, which were clearly visible on your excellent photograph.
Thank you so much for your assistance with the photos and additional information on the Piersol family. You are a gem! Linda
|Rick Thoman||Anna Elizabeth Thoman|
I'm hoping for a photo of a gravestone Anna Elizabeth Thoman (1868-1886), #119373551. The photo is the memorial for her grandmother Anna (1811-1886) (and her grandfather Jacob).
|Carl Catherman||Stephenson County|
I'm taking this opportunity to thank you for all the great photos you've posted on the memorials for my relatives in Stephenson County. I'm sure I'm not the only one who appreciates the work you've done.
