 | Lorenzo Slocum I added his parents. I am no relation. Would you like me to transfer his memorial to you?

 | Cynthia Slocum Thanks for sending the additional information. I've updated her memorial other than changing her year of birth. The transcript showed 1814, which matches doing the math of her death on Sept 16, 1877 at age 62 years, 10 months and 19 days. Since there's no photo of the stone to compare it with, I can't say for sure the transcript is correct. Do you have documentation that she was born in 1810? If so, I'll be happy to put a note in the bio section about the discrepancy in dates. Just let me know. Thanks!Added by bvn on Oct 23, 2012 6:02 PM | | | Donna Ruhland Bonning
 | Theodore Talbot Hi Peter....
I'de be happy to tranfer his memorial to you. It must be pretty exciting to find his memorial! You could add more info if you'de like then. Or you could send it along to me to add.

 | RE: Mary Polly Hipsher Hi Peter,
I will post the picture. It's not going to look like much, so please be forewarned.
I linked John Miller to his dad; thanks for prompting me to remember that. That's usually something I do as a matter of course, but I've been a bit behind the 8-ball lately. | | | Jeff Turner
 | Mary Polly Hipsher Hi Pete,
Thanks for the info on Mary and her parents. She was a dead end up until this point, and would likely have remained that way, since we were uncertain on the spelling of her maiden name.
Mary was my GGG grandmother, so that makes your wife and me distant cousins. If she has any additional info on Mary's ancestors, or even on Mary's son John W. Miller (my GG grandfather), I'd be very interested.
Incidentally, the side of Mary Hipsher's stone has an engraving for what I thought said, "Mary, dau. of E & M Grubb." It could possibly be "B & M Grubb" and would therefore be Minerva's child. The stone is so weathered, it's hard to say. I have a picture of that side of the stone, which I could email to you, if you like. | | | Nancy Gibson Lowe
 | Philip Brant After you wrote to my daughter, Carolyn Lowe Shifflett, the other day and she forwarded your email to me, I wrote to you from my usual email address (NAVYLOWES62@live.com) instead of my F.A.G. address. I've been waiting for you to write back but so far you haven't. Did my email wind up in your "JUNK" folder? ~ Nancy Lowe | | | DParrish
 | RE: Jennings transfers I am happy for you to have access to your ancestors' memorials! I transcribed the data from an old Green's Farms Church inventory taken about 60 years ago and am not personally related to the people contained in it. They belong with family, if possible, and I am glad you are interested in maintaining the memorials.Added by DParrish on Dec 31, 2011 12:36 PM | | | | [View all messages...] |
