|Bio and Links|
I'm retired and willing to do any 'leg work' for those needing help with verifications throughout Southern Maryland. Please let me know should anyone find errors in my submissions and I'll do corrections and gladly add any family links. I'll transfer memorials of those I've added who are not related to me, within Findagrave Guidelines. For updates or suggestions, please remember to use the EDIT TAB located in the upper right of memorials. I will no longer be able to address those who wish to add info or links via my bio page or my email.|
Obituaries: I WILL NOT add lengthy obits to memorials I've created. This site isn't for favorite colors and hobbies. I will extract any pertinent data such as links or dates and add them.
I have Spaminator attached to my email to block junk emails. When emailing, please add "Findagrave" in the subject.
Families of research: Boteler, White, Richards, Catterton & Griffith.

Bud was a classmate OCS 26 at ft Benning, GA. 1952, we corresponded a number of years and he made a trip to Oklahoma City, mid 1960s and we met for lunch...my military life was better for knowing him.
|SMRathwell(Meow716)||Harshbargers in Fort Lincoln|
I have been working on the descendants of my great grandmother Mary Fitzwater Jones Swann who was first married to Geo. W. Jones and then to my great grandfather James Thomas Swann.
She had 5 children with her first husband and one was Winifred Catherine Jones (#117812381) who married Benton Harshbarger (#74611983) which I manage on FindAGrave. Their son, Robt. C Harshbarger (#112334330) and his wife Maxine (#112334353) are in Fort Lincoln Cemetery PG County and were created by you. I was thrilled to find them! I would very much like to have you transfer them to me so I can add obits and other family connections. My no. is 4714912. If this isn't feasible, then I have provided the #'s for your information.
AND wondering if you could locate and take a picture (at your convenience and if there is no snow on the ground - did I forget to mention I live in Northern Ontario, Canada so snow on the ground is always a concern, lol) of Helen Amanda Swann Howder who is also interred at Fort Lincoln. And apparently so is one of her sons - William T. Stevenson. Pictures of both would be greatly appreciated and credited.
Finally, since you are in southern Maryland - - I am trying to tie up loose ends on my 2x Great Grandfather William Swann who died in 1863 in PG County. He was married to Mary Ann Lewis. I believe he is buried in St. Barnabas Episcopal Church Cemetery in Temple Hills. Mary Ann may be interred with her daughter Margaret at Bells Methodist in PG Co. I would love a pic of his headstone if there is one or confirmation that he and the Wm. Swann buried at St. Barnabas are one and the same. And any information that tells who his parents were. That is the biggest mystery.
Thank you for your time and consideration.

Thank you for the transfer of Julia A Croskey to me. Your help is appreciated.
|Paul Leo Frene||RE: Cribbin|
Yes they are brother and sister. John's wife Mary Cecilia Cribbin nee Quigley, passed away in 1939 at the age of 31. Mary, John's sister who was single and never married, moved in with her brother to help take care of him and help raise the boys James Patrick and Joseph V. Cribbin.

Thank you Gene. The best thing about internet family history research is pooling our efforts! I have been to the State Archives in Annapolis and they have wonderful records, especially the Church records on microfilm. I'm looking forward to hearing from you.
|Carolyn Sweeney Johnson||Unnamed Baby boys Catterton|
I am working on my grandmother's sister's history who was married to a Catterton, the brother of Edward F.
You list Edward F. & Cora Catterton as the parents of the unnamed baby boys, one b. Nov 11, 1922 d Feb. 17 1923 and one b and d on December 7, 1927.
Will you please tell me the source of that information. Of course they would not show up on census records. Are they on the cemetery records?
Thank you for any help you could provide?
