Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am Bob, 76 years old, living at the Armed Forces Retirement Home, Gulfport, Mississippi.
I only use my electric bicycle and public transportation. I retired from the United States Navy on Friday May 13, 1977. I have always thought of Friday the 13th as my lucky day, and it still is.
I grant permission to use my photographs in all respectful means.
I add interments when I find them, if they are from your family, I want to transfer them to you because you have more information than I do. If you are maintaining a section of military information elsewhere, I want you to maintain the memorial sites that I posted too. Again you have more info than I do.
I finished photographing the Lord Ridge Cemetery. I was unable to get a complete listing from the City Council. After that, I would have been able to tie in my photographs with the entire "population" of the cemetery. There would have been lots of photos of the headstones that would not be posted because about 90 percent are not available or has been damaged beyond decyphering. I am honored to have been able to post the memorial and headstone photograph of the "Father of his country, Belize" the Right Honorable George Cadle Price.
I am also happy to say that I have photographed every grave site at the US Soldiers' and Airmen's Home National Cemetery (up through October 2010) and the Battleground National Cemetery both in Washington, D.C.I have also Posted every grave site at St. Elizabeth's Hospital (West Campus). I photographed and posted all missing memorials and photos at Bethesda Cemetery, Camden, Arkansas. I did the same for Shiloh Cemetery, Union County, Arkansas. I have also photographed all the headstones at the Kanchanaburi War Memorial Cemetery Thailand (the POW Cemetery from the Thai Burma Railroad, Bridge on the River Kwai fame). I have photographed all of the headstones at Chungkai War Cemetery, another POW cemetery from the Thai Burma Railroad, Bridge on the River Kwai fame.
In December 2012, I photographed Labuan War Cemeteryand Labuan War Memorial, in Malaysia.
I photographed all of the headstones at Clark Cemetery, Philippines and have posted them, through December 2014.
One day I will be honored by my name being included on the Fallen Find-A-Grave Contributors Memorial.
I am also a War Graves contributor.

photos for L W MUMME
Hello Bob
Thank you so much for finding and sending me the photos of Leonard Warren Mumme AIF at Labuan Memorial Cemetery. They are a heartfelt addition to Leo's memory. Even though we have Leo's Service Record, we are still uncertain whether he passed away at the Sandakan POW camp or during the infamous Sandakan death march. With the Japanese regularly falsifying records about POW's deaths, we may never know.

Again, thank you for the photos, they are greatly appreciated.

Best regards

RE: Charles Patrick
Dear Bob (Gulfportbob),

My little motto I use for myself - "Share & share alike" - I am new to the findagraves website (by only a couple of months). I have made a few little changes & miner adjustments of "Private - Charles Patrick "Charley" WOOD" - however I have tried respectfully to keep it - of the 'originality' of how Muriel Butler originally published his memorial site - she has put a tremendous efforts & years of historical logging & referencing. If you're interested in the memorial site of Charles Patrick WOOD - I recommend you to view the websites of 'Muriel Butler' - kept as reference in the memorial site of Charles Patrick WOOD. You are free to copy, reference anything you wish - in my site (all information - documents & photos - other memorials to my site - are safeguarded - believe you & me - they are very safe). The main importance to any of memorial added to my site (they are completely reference, crossed referenced with other family members) - from Registered & Historical Certificates (Registries around the world / Archives / War Memorials / Civil Registries & Nominal Rolls). I have made a few miner details & edited few extra pieces of information added to the memorial of Charles Patrick Wood (Wall Panel 15 - that particular photo - I added the extra information just to expand on his service & his history surrounding his passing) for anyone new to war memorials - little pieces of extra information for reference are good to have - when any of able to visit these sites. You welcome to visit my site - as you see fit. I would however like to ask are you related? or is your interest - just for nostalgia! You're Welcome to my site - anyone who is related to family members in my site ("It is nice to think that - people - "Can Share & Share Alike") Kind Regards - Daniel Bishop

God Bless You for the transfer and thank you for your service. Our oldest son was stationed at Biloxi for his training and we went to visit him. My husband retired from the Army and our youngest son served 4 yrs. in the Navy so I am very proud of anyone that has served our country. Keep up the great job!!!
