I am a native of Ashland, Kentucky, and live in Elmore County, Alabama. I have pictures of Nicholls and Jones graves in Ashland, Kentucky. I have photographed graves in Elmore and Montgomery Counties, in Alabama, and recently in Accomack County, Virginia, and Worcester County, Maryland, where I visit from time to time.|
It is wonderful to be a member of Find A Grave. I have received grave photos of relatives buried far away, whose graves it is unlikely than I will ever to be able to visit. They died in 1899, 1900, and 1915, in three different towns, and I had thought the graves might be unmarked. To receive excellent pictures of the three monuments was thrilling, and I am truly grateful.

Hi Jerri, thanks for the interest! If he has a marker there, it will very likely be a flat military marker--or less likely, a standing military marker similar to those at Arlington.

Thank you Jerri for your message. I will look forward to seeing you photos.
Jerri, that was so very kind of you. I was truly elated with the pictures you took in the spring. Thank you again for thinking of my grandfather. Sure would be neat if we knew what the large monument next to him reads. I would so love to make a trip out there. My mothers family were all from Salisbury. You are a blessing! Have a safe and happy holiday weekend. Blessed be - Denece

You are very welcome! My 3x (?)great grandfather is buried there too, so I thought while I was there, why not help others. I'll keep looking, so keep your photo request posted so I'll have the name.
