Bio and Links
Bio Photo I have been researching my roots for many years. There is something very satisfying in discovering all about my family history; and there is always more to learn!

As well as its primary purpose being a grave registration site, FindAGrave is a wonderful way to memorialize our ancestors, and a great genealogical resource. My husband and I enjoy contributing to this website, honoring those who have gone before us, and helping others to find their long lost family.

We respect the guidelines set forth for this website.

We will be happy to add proper info and links to memorials.
Transfer requests will be made for direct family members, within 4 generations, as set by the guidelines.
Please make all SACs and transfer requests through the edit tab on the memorial itself.

All photos that we post are bound by copyright rules. Do not take any of them for your own use, neither on this website, nor anywhere else. Do not alter them for re-posting here, nor anywhere else. Thank you :)

I really appreciate the time you took to get the great photos of my great uncle and aunt's headstone. As an added bonus you found their son Raymond.

Thank you,

Robin

RE: Picture Request
I did request the change using the edit tab, but the current memorial manager refuses to make the change. Mary is the sister of my great grandfather and her parents are incorrectly listed on the memorial. My copy of the death certificate and the census record are evidence of my claim. The current information on the memorial for the parentage and siblings is incorrect. The spouse and children are correct, however. Can I contact someone at find a grave to get this corrected???

Carol & Pete: thank you for the reply, though I am disappointed with your answer. But at least I asked for permission, while other people will probably “pirate” the photos anyway and they will be posted elsewhere for others to copy. Or someone else may have a photo that I can use on ancestry.
Genealogy RESEARCH is my passion, I work at it every day, many hours a day. I will keep searching for information about the people in this memorial in order to help others who may be searching for the same ones.
Thank you: Clc (#47122252)

Picture Request
Hello,
I wish to request your permission to use the tombstone picture on the memorial that I created for my great great aunt, Mary Mast Dague. The memorial I have created contains the accurate parent links for her. My memorial for her is 134701913. She was an older sister to my great grandfather.

Samuel F. HIGO
I just received death certificate on Samuel F. Higo who is my grandfather. It says he was born August 31, 1863. Date of death August 17, 1936.

FYI. No way to change the tombstone now.

Thank you for adding him to Find A Grave.

Hello Carol and Pete,

Thank you for your message that you were unable to find my ancestors (husband and wife) in the Saint Stephen Cemetery; you wanted to try "Trinity". I do not know the difference :) but I do know that on Anna's death certificate it states that she was buried in "Reformed" and that's all it has for burial location, on 20 Jan 1912.

Wish I could be there with you, doing all of the sleuth work! I'd take you to lunch! Thanks for your help and I hope you find them!
