Bio and Links
Bio Photo I have been researching my roots for many years. There is something very satisfying in discovering all about my family history; and there is always more to learn!

As well as its primary purpose being a grave registration site, FindAGrave is a wonderful way to memorialize our ancestors, and a great genealogical resource. My husband and I enjoy contributing to this website, honoring those who have gone before us, and helping others to find their long lost family.

We respect the guidelines set forth for this website.

We will be happy to add proper info and links to memorials.
Transfer requests will be made for direct family members, within 4 generations, as set by the guidelines.
Please make all SACs and transfer requests through the edit tab on the memorial itself.

All photos that we post are bound by copyright rules. Do not take any of them for your own use, neither on this website, nor anywhere else. Do not alter them for re-posting here, nor anywhere else. Thank you :)

Christine Smith
Benjamin Stimmel
I was so excited to receive a email with this info from my sister who is doing our geneology research.
I live in Roswell, NM and have been to White Oaks many many times, which is just about 2 hours from here, love the place, now a little ghost town and Artist colony to some. I've even been to that grave yard never knowing that my great great uncle was buried there. Benjamin was a brother to my great great grandpa Daniel Stimmell. I love the area because it is so historical. This is the area and era of Billy the Kid who was shot prior to Benjamin working in White Oaks. Is there a picture of him by chance?

RE: Muriel Smith in Lakewood Cemetery
Muriel Smith has no individual marker nor are there any individual names on the Smith family monument. Lakewood records online show she was cremated as was Ralph.

# 82956180 Carl M Mock
Please note that the death year on your entry for #82956180 Carl M Mock buried at Upper Octorara Cemetery, Parkesburg, PA is wrong. The pic submitted of headstone says May 21, 2004 but the typed information entered says 2002. This erroneous information shows up on

I really appreciate the time you took to get the great photos of my great uncle and aunt's headstone. As an added bonus you found their son Raymond.

Thank you,

RE: Picture Request
I did request the change using the edit tab, but the current memorial manager refuses to make the change. Mary is the sister of my great grandfather and her parents are incorrectly listed on the memorial. My copy of the death certificate and the census record are evidence of my claim. The current information on the memorial for the parentage and siblings is incorrect. The spouse and children are correct, however. Can I contact someone at find a grave to get this corrected???

Carol & Pete: thank you for the reply, though I am disappointed with your answer. But at least I asked for permission, while other people will probably “pirate” the photos anyway and they will be posted elsewhere for others to copy. Or someone else may have a photo that I can use on ancestry.
Genealogy RESEARCH is my passion, I work at it every day, many hours a day. I will keep searching for information about the people in this memorial in order to help others who may be searching for the same ones.
Thank you: Clc (#47122252)
