Bio and Links
Bio Photo How delighted I was when someone found and photographed my infant sister's gravestone and others! This website has a multitude of wonderful people working to help others. I'm so grateful to all who have helped me.

Grant County, MN memorials are my interest as well as honoring our soldiers and veterans buried in MN State Veterans Cemetery and Fort Snelling National Cemetery.

Information sources used include:
SSDI, MN Historical Society's Death Certificates Index & Birth Certificates Index, Minnesota Official Marriage System, Dalby Database, US Dept of Veterans Affairs Nationwide Gravesite Locator, FamilySearch.org, obituaries from several newspapers & funeral homes, county history books as well as cemetery record lists.

Please submit any additions or corrections to me under "EDIT" and "SUGGEST A CORRECTION" on the memorial page.

I will gladly transfer memorials to family members.

God bless you all.

It has to be her and looks like died in childbirth as child IONE born around then as well... wonder if she lived as can't find record or marriage of IONE after 1920 census either .....husband OLE died much later in 1966. odd how things become mysteries for lack of bookkeeping..and things die off after generations

Lindeman Headstones
Thank YOU for taking photos of the Lindeman stones for me. Sadly this family died in a car accident. Two sisters were with aunts and not in the car, so they survived their parents and siblings. I appreciate your help as I live in WA state. - Lynn

Appreciative
I just wanted to tell you how very much I appreciate the transfer of Joette Frisco's memorial to me. She was such a sweet soul at the family functions, a wonderful wife and mother and friend to all she met. My in-laws took me to Fort Snelling Military Cemetery for the first time last week and I was in awe at the beauty of the site and all the rich history it holds. It was not until we were back on the road that my mother-in-law mentioned that Joette had been buried there also along with another relative of the family. Those headstones will be sought during my next visit. Your dedication to working on that cemeteries' database is truly remarkable and so appreciated. Warmly, Helen Murphy, Tennessee

RE: Vernon Chayer transfer
I know I didn't have to transfer but since you sent along an obit to add, I chose to as I never add recent obit's due to privacy issues.
Living relatives might not want their names online.
