Bio

If you have questions about the biographical information I have posted to the memorials I have created, please do not leave a public message. Please email me directly and I will reply in kind. Thank you.

I was born in the Saskatchewan prairies where my paternal (Falkiner) and maternal (Bourgeault) grandparents and great-grandparents (Crowe) took up homesteads. Over the years I have digitized and restored every photo and scrap of memorabilia pertaining to these ancestors, and in doing so, became very connected to them. I feel humbled by the hardships they endured as pioneers, and feel they should be recognized for their efforts and sacrifices, which this website allows me to do. I have met many other amateur genealogists online, and on occasion someone performs an act of kindness for me. I have posted photos and research to memorials in hope that I can repay the kindness extended to me, and also to honor those who went before us.
