RE: Samuel Harris
Hi LBS,

I am so pleased you contacted me. I just reached an agreement with a local photographer in Glen Ellyn. She knows Forest Hill Cemetery and will take the pictures I need this coming week.

You are definitely a good sport and I appreciate a great deal your willingness to help me out. I do plan to offer my services to photograph local cemeteries because of my experiences with contributors like yourself. You have been most generous.

I wish you the best for the holiday season and the comping new year. If I can ever help please let me know.

Samuel Harris
Samuel Harris is interred in Plot 80. There appears to be a number of other family members buried in Plot 80. The only inscription on Samuel's Headstone is "Father".

Mary Perry Harris [mother] of Mary Albina and wife of Samuel
Mary Albina Harris Hull
Franklin Hull [Husband]
Roland Hull [child]
Clara Louise Hull [child]
Virginia Hull [child]
Elon Samuel Harris

I am hoping there may be an obelisk with the name Harris.

There are some documents I would like to have photographed, which are too old to be scanned. They are in the possession of the President of the Board. Jennie, who is the point of contact for the cemetery, can help you out.

Please let me know if I can provide any further information.

Again, thanks so much.

I will check to the Find a Grave protocols to contact you. If you know the protocols please let me know.

Thank you very much,

RE: Roby Coy
Dear Loretta: In the 20 years I spent as a student & faculty member at Cornell, I've spent quite a few hours stuck in the snow in Chenango County, NY, but I've never done original research in cemeteries there, & the pre-1850 census records are pretty uninformative. The linkage I sent you is in lots of Ancestry files &, for me, the link is part of a large family tree for a niece of mine by marriage. As you correctly say, it does make sense, but I suggest you check with the living submitters of the Ancestry files. They couldn't have all just copied from one another. I'm sorry I can't be more helpful to you on this one. Please post or send out whatever fuller confirmation you find. if any. Thanks! Sincerely, Dick B.

Thank you so much for fulfilling my photo request and the wonderful pictures! I visited there many years ago before I had any idea how many people I was related to.

All the best!
Kathy

Adding my brother's parents
Several weeks ago I put in the memorial numbers of my parents on my brother Harry L. Thompson's memorial page. Could you please do whatever you have to do to make them and his siblings all show up? Please and thank you,

Beverly (Harry's little sister)
