Bio Photo Pat is an RAOGK volunteer for Ellis and surrounding counties in Texas. She previously lived for 30 years in Colorado where she also researched for RAOGK. While in Colorado, she served as President, as well as other officers, in her local genie society and edited the society newsletter and quarterly, even after she moved back to Texas in 2002. Pat also served as President of the Colorado Council of Genealogial Societies and was the coordinator for the National Genealogical Society's Conference in the States in 1998, held in Denver. She has conducted workshops and presented lectures at the local, area, and national levels, but her passion has always been, and will always be, cemeteries.

RE: Andrew Cornelius
Patricia, thank you for your reply. We know of this Moses Andrew and know where his grave is. He is not our grandfather Andrew Cornelius. We do not know where he went to after his wife died in 1881. She is buried near MayPearl but we have not been able to pin him down. Supposedly he returned to Arkansas after he made arrangements for his younger children.
There is one in Little Rock AR but the info is not quite right. It fits to a point but someone posted that he was 52 years old but our Andrew would be 70 70 yrs old in 1919.

I want to thank you for your work at MT.ZION CEMETERY IN ELLIS COUNTY, MIDLOTHIAN TEXAS.
My mom is buried there and I don't have the opportunity to go to the cemetery as often as I would like to, she told me not to actually. So, by having the information you provide to us on Find a grave. Com, I am able to visit her and sometimes write to her like I would talk to her. It helps me and one day, my kids and grand kids will be able to find her.
sincerely, cindy Davis

Midlothian Funeral and Cemetary Records
How does one access the Funeral and Cemetary records for Midlothian Cemetary? Seems like these should be accessible to family doing genealogical research.

Winston C. Wade not Wado
Hello Ms. Kemper,
Wanted to contact you regarding a typo on the Find A Grave Site of Mary Jane Chance in Ellis Co., Midlothian, Texas. Her second husband 's name was Winston C. Wade, not Wado, and the family prefers Winson C. Wade. I'm pretty sure I sent you the correct information initially. Perhaps, someone took editing liberties.
Also, I note that you quote Midlothian Funeral Home and Midlothian Cemetery records as sources of information in addition to myself. Over, the years, I have sought to obtain access to these records and have generally been given the run-around. So, I am asking again how I can view these records, particularly since I need to verify the actual date of Winston's death.
Any assistance you can provide will be appreciated.
