I started researching my family's history after my father died in 1995. When looking around the cemetery, I realized how little I knew of my ancestors. I was concerned about how much information would be lost if another generation passed. I am still searching so if you are related to a person that I have entered we could be cousins.|

|C. Morgan||Carrie M. Cox Warren|
Hi, I was researching the McInturf clan and found a great uncle's daughter married a Cox. I have spent many hours on the Cox family in order to find the McInturf I was looking for.
Anyway, I strongly believe Carrie's (memorial #14843267)given name at birth was Itaska Caroline Martha. Itaska was born 2/14/1887 in AR to Houston L.(memorial #40770494) and Nancy Ann (memorial #51208277) Cox. She married Samuel Crawford Warren in Logan County, AR on 8/6/06.
If Carrie was Itaska, I thought you might want to add her given name in her bio and link her to her mother and father.
Just wanted to share - thank you.
|Margaret Kincannon||Amanda Kincannon|
I found Amanda Kincannon's dates of birth and death and place of burial on the online TnGenWeb Cemetery Database, and I was also able to contact the caretaker/"historian" of the Shady Grove Cemetery. He sent me a photo that I will post.
|Margaret Kincannon||Mother of David A. Kincannon, Jr.|
I have found a burial for Amanda Kincannon at Shady Grove Cemetery II near Saltillo, TN (born November 10, 1843; died February 16, 1906). I believe she was Frances A. Kincannon who married David Alexander Kincannon about 1872, and that she was the F. A. Yarbro who was a daughter of William and Mary Yarbro listed in 1860 Decatur County, TN, census records. I found "Fany A." Kincannon listed among adult baptisms at Union Valley Presbyterian Church on October 1, 1876. In 1880, F. A. "Cincanon" (with her sons James F. and David A.) was listed as sister-in-law and housekeeper for James "Cincannon" (James F. Kincannon, younger brother of David Alexander Kincannon) and his two children, Jimmie I. and Charlie. Both "F. A." and James were widowed. Fanny's sons both moved to Arkansas in about 1890; James Franklin Kincannon married Darthula Featherstone in Scott County, AR, on December 10, 1891.
You wew right I don't have a photo for Roy. Thank you for that foresight!
