I encountered the website quite by accident while researching family members. Immediately I recognized the value of this resource for future generations.|
I have been reluctant to readily discard family histories encompassed in the vast collection of funeral programs acquired through years. Find A Grave affords a perfect opportunity to share the valuable information contained in these documents.
My goal is to share accurate data as recorded in these documents or from my personal knowledge in hope that it will be helpful to others.
Current geneaological focus is on descendants of (1) Antrum Lesesne (Nero Lesesne, Derry Lesesne/ Lesane, Abram Plowden, Effie/Affie Plowden, Titus Abraham) and (2) Luke & Sarah Davis of South Carollina (Sumter and Clarendon counties).

thanks for the note. I do include some bio info in the memorials as an aide to future family researchers (ie. first names of children, full parents, how many grandchildren and first names where available). I extract some other misc.info from notices so any help filling in the blanks of a life lived is always appreciated. Again, thanks for your generosity....Roberta

Mary....thank you for the edit material for Delores. I have placed her on our photo list for next time out. Need to give the staff just a little time to catch up with backlog of engraving....Roberta

You have a picture associated with my mother that is not her. I would like to have the picture removed. When did you create this document and for what reason did you create it?

Sent you a SAC on Tue., Dec 29 18:12 , no reply yet, any news?
Would you please verify the grave location? I cannot find him in the National Gravesite Locator for the Veterans Administration.
This monument, 144586985, is a duplicate of 126921032 and they are both yours.

Hi Mary, you have placed a photo under "Grave" of her. Please remove.
As for photos, you should only place photo of people that you originally own, not funeral home obit photos.
