The aboves Find A Grave # is 126601780 Her maiden name was Laura Anita Dively he father was Sylvester F. Dively Find A Grave # 132483570 her mother was Cora W. Dively Find A Grave # 126225646. She was married to Fred Jacobsen who I can not find on Find A Grave. I would appreciate it if you would update her grave information. Thank you.

Hi. Jake was his nickname only when he was really young. When he was an adult, he was always Scotty, and that is what people knew him as from then on until he died from pancreatic cancer (chain smoker from 12 years old on).

My grandfather was an aircraft mechanic on the (first) Yorktown until it was sunk, after which he was on the USS Saratoga. I didn't know until recently which ship he served on first, but I had confirmation of this recently. He had joined the service before the war in the summer of 41'.
