128093331, Not sure what happened, but I sent in an edit for her parents, and her own memorial has been put her parents and Childs place. Maybe I put in the wrong numbers?

Possible transfer

I was wondering if you would consider transferring your entry for Mary Jane Hamilton (Find A Grave #127332638) to me. Mary Jane is my great grandmother and I would like to add some additional information to her entry.

My Find A Grave researcher number is 46816755.

Thank you for your consideration!

I believe this is my Grandfather. #127307920
My father didn't speak much of him though. I wasn't even sure that his burial was in CA. Do you know any more about this at all?

RE: Jake/Scotty
Hi. Jake was his nickname only when he was really young. When he was an adult, he was always Scotty, and that is what people knew him as from then on until he died from pancreatic cancer (chain smoker from 12 years old on).

My grandfather was an aircraft mechanic on the (first) Yorktown until it was sunk, after which he was on the USS Saratoga. I didn't know until recently which ship he served on first, but I had confirmation of this recently. He had joined the service before the war in the summer of 41'.
