So many people have been very helpful to me; thank you for your ongoing support! I know many researchers will appreciate our efforts.|
I enjoy family history, it is like solving a large puzzle. I am still working full time so the hours I have to take pictures and add them are limited.
There are several cemeteries Scrubgrass Stone Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Big Bend Methodist Church Cemetery, North Washington Union Cemetery, Annisville (New Salem) Cemetery, Mt. Varnum, Prairie, Allegheny, Pleasant Valley and East Unity Presbyterian Church Cemetery that are now completely added to Find a Grave (or at least as complete as I could find records). I have many family members buried in these cemeteries. I will do my best to update the other cemeteries.

|MHaun@AOL.com||Emma married to Zeldon McGinnis|
Thanks for the help, I too looked at the two Zeldon you mentioned, I believe they were buried in Eau Claire Cemetery. I could not match her up with any of that family either. As I mentioned before the only other clue was she was married to a Hilliard long enough to have three sons Richard, Andrew, and William. I can attach Ida Elizabeth McGinnis Kelly obit if that would help. I am a Hilliard decendant and I could not find this Emma in my large Hilliard tree. Stumped.
I wonder if you could help me out. I have a Ida Elizabeth McGinnis, married to Samuel M. Kelly. It list her parents as Zeldon McGinnis and mother as Emma, I can not find anything on them. Evidently this Emma was married before marrying Zeldon to a Hilliard, Ida Elizabeth list her obit as having half brothers Richard, Andrew and William. You can contact me at MHaun@AOL.com. Thanks Jo, keep up the good work, I aapreciate it.
|Cathy W.||Gilmore's of Harrisville, Butler Co. PA|
I am a direct decendant of the Gilmore ancestors that lived 4 generations in the areas of Washington Co , then Mercer Co. ,then Butler County PA ( from 1735-1853). Later my 2x great grandfather Joseph Chambers Gilmore ( b1835 in Harrisville, Butler County PA ) relocated to what was wild Nebraska territory in 1854. Are you by any chance related or familiar with the Gilmore's of Harrisville, Butler Co. PA?

Hi Jo..... well, you piqued my interest. I went to my family tree and cannot figure out who these Perry's are?? I have many of them but for some reason I do not have James or Margaret. I do get most of my Butler County obits from the Butler Co. Library on their microfilm and maybe I printed an obit for a wrong person and decided to attach it to their memorial instead of just toss it out?? That is really all I can think of. Sorry.

You have requested photos of markers for Mathias and Elizabeth Gilbert at Stone Church Cemetery, Clarion Co, PA. That cemetery is actually the same as Saint Paul's Union Cemetery, Clarion Co, PA, just outside Knox, on Twin Churches Rd. There are 2 churches, one brick and one stone, next to each other with a cemetery between. I don't know if the churches united but the cemetery is a "union" one. The Gilberts' memorials with pictures are found on Find A Grave at Saint Paul's Union Cemetery (152743487 and 152743493).

|Doty||RE: Edward Doty|
Thank you for the kind gesture,but actually I wasn't looking @ Edward Doty as a family link,but was searching for my great grandparents bios. out of curiosity. I had put some info. on my grandfathers link,then Ms.Trapp was kind enough to share vital info.about when,where & how he died,which was great and had asked me if I had done any research on Edward Doty as a possible ancestry link. I found whom I believe is my great grandmothers gravesite,according to the death information. However there wasn't any family mentioned. But,and I understand, that many gravesites from long ago and even today,do not have much info.,whether they be on Find A Grave/ or a cemetery headstone.. Unfortunately family history is left off. I really appreciate the dedication and time that you and all contributors put into your research. All the best to you.

I did the DNA test that proves that I'm descended from Edward Doty. Last I heard, the society wasn't accepting DNA as proof. My dad's memorial, 131159078, has my line.
THANK YOU for submitting the edits for memorials I have created. I love your dedication to making Find A Grave as accurate as possible. Keep them coming and have a great day!!!!
