I have been involved with taking cemetery photos along with my sister, for the past 10 or so years. We are known in some "circles" as The Cemetery Sisters. All of our thousands of photos were submitted to USGenWeb.org, however we found that people would like to see them on Find-A-Grave as well. We're willing to transfer management of any of the entries we submit. |
If anyone has a question or request regarding any of our photos, please tell me which cemetery you refer to. I'll be happy to help any way I can. Thank you.

The following is taken directly from the Find-a-Grave Policies. I am sorry you have chosen not to adhere to them,
"Reporting chalking: Photos of chalked, floured, shaving creamed, wire brushed, or otherwise altered headstones are strictly not allowed and are subject to removal when reported and/or when spotted by an administrator.
"If the chalked photos appear on memorials that YOU have created and maintain, then you can ask to have them removed if you object to them, at which time they will be deleted. In such a case, report the photos to firstname.lastname@example.org. Use the same email address to report members who are continually posting chalked headstone photos."
If the shoe fits.

You can send an email to email@example.com. Explain the situation to them and they can assist you.
Please do not chalk markers. Please do not post photos of chalked markers. This damages the markers and violates Find A Grave policy. You can be reported.

Thank you for your help. Hope to find you on other pic because this was great. Looking forward to seeing his wife with him.

Sorry I didn't get back quickly. You posted a pic of Leonard Howard in Sunset Memorial Cemetery Richland, Benton Co. WA. The pic looked like it was part of a larger marker with the name Howard or at leased the name of his wife on the other half. I just wanted to know if there was more to that marker. It might help me finding his wife.
Thank you for answering me

Thank you for being part of a large family that takes pic of Markers in Cemetery's. The pic of Leonard Howard looks like it was part of a larger marker. I am trying to get his wife. Maybe his wife's marker is there.
Thanks for any help you can give me.

Thank you for taking the time to take a picture of his gravestone at Milton-Freewater and for posting it on Find A Grave.
He is a shirt tail relation via his sweet grand daughter Cora Wilmot Davidson of Oswego, Oregon.
Robert has been added to my Ancestry tree.

Thanks very much, Pauline.
|Jerry O||RE: Re Twin Firs Cemetery - Belfair, WA|
I'm trying to do a thorough job on Twin Firs because that is my local cemetery. I'm only doing twin firs cemetery. What is lacking is personal cleaning of markers before they are photographed and I'm spending much time doing that. I'm able to do it at age 68 but if I was older maybe not.
