Bio Photo The cemeteries are one of the best ways to gather information such as birth/death dates, marriage dates, spouse's name, family members, etc. This site has been a treasure box for us, we hope to give back a little information in return.
Only a genealogist can appreciate the excitement of finding a picture of that ancestor or their marker.
Additional information & or corrections are welcome.
Duplications are not intentional.
Will be glad to transfer any memorial, unless it is one of our family.
Thank You

Elder J. B. Davis
I found your photo of Elder J. B. Davis buried in Holly Grove Methodist Cemetery in Hempstead County, Arkansas. His marker says "father" so I was wondering if there was a marker next to his for his wife that says "Mother"? Thanks!

Citty Cemetery, Hempstead County, Arkansas
I found your listing for this cemetery last night, was very happy to find it, and have learned something new about my great great grandparents, Andrew Jackson Wallace and his wife Mary Jane Fontaine Wallace. First, I did not know that they are in a "named" cemetery. I have always heard from family that they were buried in a field on what was, at one time, Munro Stuart's property in Hempstead County, which is now private property. Second, I realize the possibility exists that they may have headstones. Have you visited this cemetery, and if so, do they have actual headstones here? Thank you for any information you can provide, and also for adding this cemetery to the Find A Grave records.
