Abner Harrell
Sorry Jim I wish could help you, but the Harrell Cemetery just happened to be near my hunting camp and could resist surveying it.

RE: George Oak
We have been working at this cemetery trying to photo and locate all of those interred here. There are more Oaks and they should be online this week. Glad we could locate this family for you.

RE: Rev Benjamin F. Horne
Rev. Benjamin F. Horne's first wife Frances Jones Horne was my great-grandmother Sarah Clementine Jones Smith's sister. The picture came from family members and I do have a picture of his first wife Frances.

Lem Turner homestead
Hello Jim,

I recall you being the authority on Lem Turner. Do you perchance know precisely where his home was?

Thanks

RE: William Jackson
Hi Jim,

To my knowledge, this is the only photo in existence of William R. Jackson. The photo I posted was scanned from a copy-negative reprint of the original. William R is my 3rd great grandfather, and his son, Chesley, is my 2nd. One of my cousins, Robbie Wilson, lives in Coalfield and made the copy-negative (before scanners) several years ago. I bought him a scanner a few months ago, and he sent a high-resolution scan of his copy to me. He said that he does not recall any writing on the back of the original.
