My husband and I started researching our family histories in the late 1970s. That research eventually led me to Find A Grave, this excellent site for sharing information.
Mistakes are inevitable so if you find any, let me know using the EDIT tab on that memorial page.
About transfers...some seem to want management of memorials for all family & friends. According to Find A Grave, "Transfer requests should be for direct relatives within four generations, this includes your siblings, parents, grandparents, and great-grandparents". That's not to say I won't consider transfers outside the guidelines. When asking for a memorial update or a memorial to be transferred to you, PLEASE use "EDIT" then "SUGGEST A CORRECTION" instead of posting message's. Thanks | |
