26 Mar 2013 - For 3 1/2 years I have been proud to work with and assist many Contributors on here. Please know that I will stop all communication with anyone who will disrespect me over a decision to maintain a memorial.
Directly from FAG FAQ - Fourth, Explain your relationship in the request! Any non-direct relatives (aunts, uncles, cousins, etc) are not required to be transferred. Keep in mind that the original contributor may also be related to the memorial and may not make the transfer.

Oct 2009 - I've been interested in genealogy since I was a preteen because my maternal grandfather's mother died giving birth to him and his twin brother (stillborn) in 1924 and he was raised by his maternal grandparents (his grandma was only 32 years old and already had 8 children and had another 7 children after taking Grandpa in). Grandpa Sonny Staggs was my rock throughout his life - he died in July 2008. He taught me many lessons in life including that nothing in this world is given to you, if you're not willing to work hard for it!
Fast forward a few years I meet my husband (by selecting him out of a yearbook from another high school and a mutual friend introduces us) and come to find out we're related by marriage, so we share many kin folks.
I'm not here to play the numbers game. What is more important to me is that what I have is correct. I will try to help others without hurting anyone.
Please let me know if you have any additions or corrections to the memorials I have added. Also I'll be more than happy to link to other family members or transfer a memorial.
Take Care and God Bless! | |
