This is a copy of a SAC I sent you in April; you haven't gotten back to me, and haven't made any changes in the memorial.

From all that I can tell, there is no "Ruth Slaton" buried at Gainesville Mill Cemetery. Without even an estimate of her DOB or DOD, I'm unable to help you figure out where she might be buried.
Unless you can document reasons for believing that Ruth Slaton IS buried here, please take the memorial out of the cemetery. IF she fits the criteria for listing as a "Burial Unknown" you can change her memorial to that category. If, however, you just know that she must have been buried somewhere, then you really should delete the memorial.

Brad my husband and I were out at Gainesville Mill yesterday and rewalked every marker. There is none for Ruth Slaton. Either she did not have one or it is too worm to be able to read. Records were not kept for this cemetery. The only ones available are from my photographs of the markers. We have cleaned the markers and can clearly tell she is not on one. The Director of Gainesville Mill and Alta Vista even went out with me one day and we could not find one for her. I wish there were one. | | |
