RE: Vere Harold Esmond Harmsworth
Hi, thanks for correcting it. I think the findagrave website makes some of these links automatically, the software is obviously not capable of noticing that someone born in 1925 cannot have a mother born in 1930!

RE: Wymondham Cemetery
Let me have an email address and I can send pitcures of 4 of the stones mentioned. The 5th is proving more difficult.

Wymondham Cemetery
I shall be visiting the Cemetery Road cemetery in Wymondham very soon and will happily photograph the memorials (Reginald Moore and Edward Brown) mentioned on Find A Grave if you still have no photographs. .

Cemetery Information
Regarding your entry for St Mary's Churchyard, Syston, Lincolnshire. There is a link on there to Syston Cemetery - this cemetery is in the town of Syston in Leicestershire and has no connection with the village of Syston in Lincolnshire.

Thorpe Smith Farmer - St Nicholas, Barkston
Thorpe Smith's occupation was Farmer, this was not his name. Unfortunately the monumental mason decided to carve this the same size as his name. Obviously the same applied to his wife Sarah. If you look very, very carfully (it is very small) there is a comma between the Smith and the Farmer.

Regards, Yvonne

Hi wertypop,
Thanks for the accurate and informative summary of my Dad's life. Excellent photo of his headstone without the usual green mossy coating. The Canadian Annex at Brookwood Commonwealth War Cemetery is always shadowed by the magnificent surrounding trees which encourages the moss to grow.
