I have been into genealogy and walking cemeteries since 2006. One side of my family comes from southern Iowa/Northern Missouri (Wayne County and Mercer County) via Pennsylvania (Hempfield, West Moorland). The other side from Norway to Bode in Humboldt County, Iowa. Those Norwegians are hard to figure out! I also have roots in Greene County and scattered around the state. I would be happy to go to any cemeteries in central Iowa when time permits, just let me know where and who I am looking for and I will get there as soon as I can. I am also willing to look up information needed on a person at the local libraries when I go. I keep a list of requests and will be happy to add more. |
If I have added a memorial for your family and that person is not in mine, I am willing to transfer.

Oh thank you so much. I would appreciate an email.
I went to Norway this year and got to see Brattespe and Espe. Met relatives and had a wonderful visit. I will share whatever you would like!

Hello. Thank u for all your wonderful additions to findagrave.com! I see u have posted some from St. John's Lutheran church. My g-g-grandparents are buried there in Lot 52. I contacted the church a few yrs ago and this is what they told me. His name was Frantz Christopher Horn 1832-1913. Her name, Ana Martha Jacobsen Horn 1831-1915. Both born in Denmark. Would you please, next time your there, take a photo of the gravestones? I have requested this twice at the church but never hear back. That would so wonderful. Names could appear different..he could be Frank, she could be Anne Margrethe. Thank u again for all your hours of volunteer work. I really appreciate it! Nancy Elliott

Thank you so much for adding the picture of the gravesite. I live across the country and would never have been able to see it without someone uploading a picture. Thank you :)

You are very welcome.
I am glad I was able to help you out. Hope they were all okay. I duplicated some other persons in more then one and I added a name that was not listed as being there. I believe it was a James.
I live in Wisconsin but was visiting my son that works there. I took nearly 2000 grave photos in the badlands and I filled/still filling over 80 requests I took pictures for dating back to 2009. Trying to catch up.
Thank you so much for taking the time to take a picture of Matilda Adams grave, I really appreciate it.
