I began using find a grave as a way to get an updated picture of my daughter's grave in El Paso. Next, I requested a picture of my best friend's grave in Florida. I was so grateful that Find-a-Grave volunteers helped me that I thought I'd do the same for others.
I try to go to at least one cemetery each week. I have taken pictures of all legible stones at Concord Cemetery, Grove City Cemetery and St. John's Lutheran Church cemetery, all in Grove City, Ohio. I have one section left to take at the Grove City Cemetery West. Also, everytime I am in New Holland, I take pictures of at least one section. I am also trying to tackle Green Lawn Cemetery in Columbus. So far I have completed sections Babyland, 32, 59 (currently entering),72, 76 (currently entering), 80, 86, 103 and 109.
I have been searching my family tree for the names Ankrom, Arnold, Baney, Helsel, Ladd, Severe, Peddycourt and Jones. I plan to eventually begin researching my husband's family.
I will gladly tranfer any memorial to you as long as it is not in my direct line and you are welcome to use any pictures on this website that I have taken.
