Thank you bunches first for adding Harry to findagrave.com. I had been searching for his and his wife's grave sites for several years. And second, for transferring management to me. I've been busy updating the memorial with photos, more data and soon an obituary.

Thank you so much. I DO like to give credit where credit is due and it is not surprising that, when someone reads a fact, they are curious as to where you got it and its authenticity. In cases where contributors ABSOLUTELY do not wish credit, I use "Courtesy of a Find A Grave contributor who wishes to remain anonymous." That at least lets the reader know WHERE I got the information and Find A Grave DOES lend authenticity, in my book. I think, for the most part people DON'T want/need credit but are satisfied with my choice of words. My husband really enjoyed going through cemeteries when we were able although I was not involved in Find A Grave at the time, nor did I even know it existed. It is wonderful!
Thanks, again, Jeannine

I'm thinking that something wonky happened thru Find A Grave and I got your message instead of Jeannine.

I am currently compiling in hard copy the Cheadle family history of which the above is a descendant (5th great grandson of the progenitor, George Cheadle). My mother-in-law was a Cheadle. I am NOT requesting transfer of any memorials. I would respectfully request permission to download this photo and any others which pertain to our line as well as biographical information from obituaries, etc. Credit will be given such as "Courtesy, Tom Rader, contributor, Find A Grave Memorial # ? ? ?" if that is agreeable.
If I do not receive an email response by Nov 30 (firstname.lastname@example.org), I will presume you have no objections to either my downloading the photos or crediting you as I have described. While I would prefer to hear from you, please know that this "deadline" is not meant to push you to a decision but to perhaps save you a little time by not having to respond?
My treatise is in no way a profit making project and will not (by my request) be posted on the internet nor will living individuals be included to the best of my ability.
You have no idea how much those of us who are of an age (I'm almost 85) or distance and cannot traipse cemeteries as we once did appreciate the effort and passion of you who contribute to Find A Grave. Many thanks from an old lady. I look forward to hearing from you.

Tom, Thank you, I really appreciate all of your work on Find A Grave. Your service of placing photo's is a big help for those who live far away, and will never have the opportunity to see first hand what you make possible. Thank you and may God continue to bless you as you bless others.

You will need the name of the cemetery.
