RE: photos in Canon City
No, it's fine to have more than one photo. If someone contacts me in hopes I'll remove one for room for another photo I'll do it then.

Yes, please add the updated photos!
I know not all of my photos are the best quality either so anything that can help people get a great shot of their ancestor's stones is awesome :)

RE: You ok out there?
omg.....I accidentally deleted your message looking for a way to just REPLY to it. I'm honestly a little under the weather and should probably just go back to bed.

HOWEVER!!!! I am glad you are ok. A job with Hallmark sounds so cool! Will be awaiting new edits when you're ready!

RE: You ok out there?
Hey, I have not forgotten my project my cemetery project. I got behind because of an injury I had to my ankle in July. I am planning on doing more pictures before winter sets in. I had planned on having the whole cemetery done before Winter but I think that is unrealistic now. So, I will keep, keeping on until snow sets in. I have a job with Hallmark cards and the seasons are gearing up now and that has also deterred my hobby. No worries, I will persevere!

Martin Faherty
My g-grandfather Patrick Henry immigrated to the USA in 1880. He was the first of his siblings to do so. His youngest brother Martin Faherty (born about 1880 according to 1901 and 1911 census records) immigrated in 1912, and was the last of the siblings to come over. He initially joined his brothers and sisters in New Jersey, but within a few years left for Oregon to do sheepherding, his original occupation in County Galway. Through census records and his siblings' obituaries, I was able to track him until 1954 in Oregon and Idaho. I lost him after that. Some cousins and I found a SSDI and Oregon Death Index for a Martin Faherty who died on 7 Mar 1976 in Pendleton, Umatilla, Oregon. His listed DOB was 14 Oct 1903, so I initially dismissed it as the wrong Martin. However, two things have come to light: 1) He has consistently made himself younger with each passing census: b 1885 (1920), b 1895 (1930), b 1901 (1940, most recently discovered), and 2) Your Find a Grave record for Martin Faherty in Olney Cemetery in Oregon. It lists an identical date of death, 7 Mar 1976, but gives a DOB of 1886 instead of the 14 Oct 1903 from index death records. You also had plot information. I was wondering if you recalled your source of information. It's possible that it's from the online Olney Cemetery transcription. Or perhaps you saw his headstone. If 1886 really is the DOB that the cemetery has, then this probably is our Martin. Thank you.
