RE: Find a Grave
Thank you David. I have done the first part. I have ask several times. That didn't work. I then sent them the Find A Grave guidelines. One of them sent me an reply saying that she and her sister-in-law would not be transfer any Harris's till they finished their family tree. (They are from another line of Harris's). They know that. They manage all of their Grandparent's.

I made another memorial for my husband's grandfather. So I could post a picture of him for his daughter. The one that has him wants to be in full control. She don't want picture's, note's or anything else on HER memorial's. I thought the memorial's were the dead people's memorial's for their family.

My Husband has ask for his grandparent's. With no luck. The one that has his ggrandparent's made up a new person and transferred 4 memorial's to it.

We would rather our dead relative's not have a Memorial on Find A Grave as to have these people controlling them.

Sorry to bother you with this. You have been here for a long time. I knew you would know what to do.

Find a Grave
We know the word is "manage" but in this case it is control.

Find a Grave could be a good site for connecting family, if it wasn't for the one's not related trying to control everyone's family. Four girl's are working together. They are collecting all the Harris's and Coleman's. They have my Husband's Grandparent's and GGrandparent's on both sides. They are not related. When they do connect some for me they don't connect them correct. I have to ask them again to do it right. They have ran off several members of my family.

They have made up an member and transfered some to. If you know what is going on with these people, please let me know.

David, you have been doing this for a long time. What do you Say we do?

RE: Pictures you have posted
We all "Thank-you" for your support David.

We had pretty much decided to stop doing anything more on F.A.G., at least on 2 lines of our family.

Aunt Margaret, had a massive stroke last night, we were going to surprise her with this website, she would have loved it. But I was up here today, instead, creating her memorial as the doctors say 'no hope." She never wanted to die in a hospital, so they took her home. That puts everything very quickly into perspective.

Please do, on our collective behalf, continue to post pictures for ****. She will control several members of our family and others that she controls should not suffer without a photo.
We know the word is "manage" but in this case it is control.

She controls around 365 known Salamonia Christian church members, to whom she is not related in any way except for her grandparents, and then has branched out to many of our family members. We are not the only family in this pickle.

I have tried to smooth things over, and I think she might do edits if she decides they are applicable. She does not care for the way we do our bio info, as it is too much like ancestry dot com which she thinks others should join. As I explained to her, most people cannot afford those pay sites and F.A.G. is perfect for them.

We've deleted our bio, continually delete our public messages, as we do not want any more memorials destroyed.

1 unhappy apple in a great big barrel of F.A.G. perfect apples ..... we are blessed.

Take Care and God Bless You and Yours:
from our family to yours

Pictures you have posted
David, We are so sorry to bother you, however we have a huge problem that I hope you can fix. Mom asked Judy Ahrens for a transfer of her great Grandparents memorials. Judy was not related in any way. Judy refused and Mom insisted per F.A.G. guidelines. Judy got very angry and removed the memorials. We have lost all headstone pictures you or PJC had posted. Daniel's OLD memorial # was 42272498 we had to recreate so his NEW memorial # is 110536644. Sarah Long Atkinson his wife's new memorial # is 110536774. We don't have the original memorial number of Sarah as it was lost when Judy deleted her memorial. This has affected others which were linked to Judy's original memorials. Mom feels so bad about all this. I'm hoping to fix some of the damage. I won't be able to fix all as Judy controls the others and we don't dare to send her any edits reflecting the new memorials we had to recreate. You and PJC are the only hope we have of getting the stone pictures replaced. Once again, I am so sorry to have to cause you more work if this is possible at all. Thank-you, Constance

RE: Transfers
Yes, my husband's mother Martha Harshman Dale Harmon was the daughter of Effie (Lindley) and Clarence Harshman! My husband has wonderful memories of staying with them on their farm. Before Martha passed she gave us a book of pictures I need to find with info. If you don't mind I may ask you to help with your info. Going to get started on this line next week after kids leave (Mother's Day)

Today is my Dad's 84th B-day so in honor of his Mom I am helping him do her memorial. She was so young and passed in his arms: HORRIBLE doctor. To this day still breaks his heart all over again.

I know I don't need to sponsor, but I really want to honor those of our close family, at least 4 generations back. In some instances I am having trouble getting transfers from totally unrelated folks, so I have sponsored in those cases so that perhaps they will consider our family worthy of management.
