Bio and Links
Bio Photo Semi-retired model railroader who has just discovered the addiction of genealogy. I live in South Saint Louis County Missouri, but I am close to Jefferson County Missouri and right across the Mississippi River from Monroe and Saint Clair Counties in Illinois.
I most enjoy trying to link families together, finding out who are the parents, aunts and uncles, and grandparents of various people I have discovered here. When possible I try to find obituaries at the library and copy them into the bio.
If I can help you, please contact me.

I might be sending this message a second time but I hope to see you next Saturday at 9 am for a photo taking group adventure. Should only be an hour or two. Bring a whisk broom.

RE: Mosbacher's in Columbia, ILL
Mike, I appreciate your comments. I am sure I am related to all the Mosbacher's in Monroe County, just have to find the keystone to bring them together, but I assume that I will end up in Deidsheim Germany where my Stauder & Mosbacher families both collected.
Thanks for all your work.

PROF HENRY W SPECKING
Greetings,
Henry is my gr grandfather buried at Mount Olive Cemetery, Lemay, MO. My wife and I purchased the marker when we found the unmarked grave. I would like to add more info to the memorial. You can transfer it to me or I will supply the info to you if you prefer. Are you related?
Henry's father is Gerhard Anton Specking, b 1820 Coesfeld Germany, who arived in St Louis area in 1855 and died in 1857. I have not been able to find out any specific info on his death. If you run across anything about him, I would appreciate the information.
Thanks for all of your efforts.

Thanks so much for the offer of help with this. Have not been able to get down there anymore. Last time was in 2005, so any help would be greatly appreciated!

LaCroix's at Immaculate Conception
Do you know anything about the Charles H. LaCroix that you have listed on FindAGrave. I believe he might be a son to Charles Sr. & Elizabeth LaCroix in the same cemetery. Just trying to put the pieces of the puzzle together.
