Hi Mike,
Thank you so much for all of the transfers. I've been able to get them linked & bio added & even followed a dau-in-law & her children to Adeline, Ogle, IL. They spread out. Thanks again. C

Thank you, Mike, for the transfers of the Poffenbergers. You didn't have to go to all the trouble filling in the info & links for me, but thank you for doing that also. I appreciate you're doing that, and even more appreciate you being "out there" in all those cemeteries finding graves & markers to add to Find A Grave. It really provide a huge service to so many. THANK YOU! C

George Washington BARNES
Hello Mike,

Thanks ever so much for what you and the rest of the FindAGrave volunteers do to help us find our ancestors!

I am interested in the grave of George Washington BARNES the you've posted on FAC and wondering if he is the younger brother of my husband's Gr2 Grandfather, Uriah BARNES - DOB: 1836 – DOD: 1908 who also served in the CW as a private in the Union's 9th Reg Maryland Infantry from July 1863 to Feb 1864. Uriah was buried in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Baltimore City, Maryland with his wife, Martha W. FRIZZELL DOB: 1840 – DOD: 1932

Uriah's parents were:

Solomon BARNES - 1808 – 1877
Providence BROTHERS - 1811 – 1858

I have a DOB for George Washington BARNES as Feb 1839 in Maryland and his death as 14 Jul 1909 in Hagerstown, Washington, Maryland. But the birthdate does not quite match up with the gravestone. Any info on George's parents or siblings would help to sort any connections.

Thanks so much in advance!

Shirley Ann Royer Siple High
It was told to me that due to her mother's age, Shirley Ann Royer was adopted by her half sister Mary Jane Royer Siple and her name was changed to Shirley Siple. Shirley was the daughter of Samuel & Jennie Marker Royer. I have been unable to find the obit for Mary Jane.
Jennie is my main interest since she was a Hawbottom Cemetery descendant.

Susan Hahn (1843-1910)
Hi Mike,
I just saw your entry for Susan Hahn on the findagrave "highlight" site and added a flower. Do you if that is totally random or if a request is made to have a profile "highlighted?" Just curious.

Valarie
