We're enjoying our treks around to the various cemeteries in Maine.
A major genealogical geek, Dale has extensive roots in Maine and loves visiting cemeteries and finding distant relatives. While Dale scours the names, Patti starts photographing as soon as her feet hit the ground. We have a backlog we'll never get through!
For us, it's a relaxing break from the stresses of everyday life. And we love connecting long distance relatives with their families' gravestones, as others have done for us.
*-*-*-*-* NAMES OF PARTICULAR INTEREST Mower, Vickery, Terrill, Grant, Dow, Estabrook, Wright, Richardson, Parker, Dexter, Whittier, Webster, Gibbs, Hasey, Wyman, Cornforth, Crowell
Gilbert, Thebeau, Bolduc, Dunphy, Logan, Shannon, Robichaud, Vautour, Yerxa, Hennessey
*-*-*-*-* TRANSFERS We will gladly transfer to other members those memorials falling within the FindaGrave guidelines.
When requesting a transfer, please indicate what the relationship to you is. If it is outside the guidelines, we will consider on a case by case basis. A major factor we look at includes how much of a contribution the requester has made to this website.
A reminder - playing nicely reaps more rewards than rude demands. Realize that we have invested a great deal of time and effort in setting up the many memorials we have entered.
*-*-*-*-* EDITS & CORRECTIONS It is not necessary to "own" a memorial to make changes. We strive to make all edits, corrections and links in a timely manner. Please give us a few days to accomplish that.
We want to help get people linked together and appreciate everyone that has added links for our family members as well.
PLEASE use the edit tab on the memorial to send edits. It just makes things SO much easier.
*-*-*-*-* PHOTOS We spend a lot of time photographing gravestones, editing and uploading. Please respect the copyright issues on our photos, do not "lift" them without asking.
*-*-*-*-* Let's work together to add value to this site, not fight over who "owns" what.
And let's be courteous to one another.

 | My grandpa in Dexter Maine Dear Dale & Patti, I am driving my father, who is 90, from Florida to Dexter to visit his father's grave. Would you be able to help me find the exact location of the grave so that we arent walking my dear old dad around for a few hours? For example could you give me directions perhaps from the front of the cemetery or point me to a plot map on line? This is what I know: My grandfather is Louis Landry. Died 1959. Buried at Mt Pleasant in Dexter. He is in Range 12 Lot 85 ( according to Dexter City Hall). He is buried near Grandma Annie Landry. Two sons should be near by ( I hope!) Edmund and Dennis Landry. We arrive to Dexter on aprox May 29, depending on the traffic etc from Florida to Dexter. Thanks for any help you can give me! Michelle at michelle.palmer@gmail.com | | | Stan Arnold
 | Drew headstone Thank you so much for getting the photo of the Drew stone at Mount Hope Cemetery. It looks great, and also thanks for adding the plot photo as well. Bangor is a bit out of the way for my next New England trip, so this saves me a lot of miles of driving.

 | RE: Houlton/Woodstock, NB Thanks Dale, I would be grateful!! The message I received was that there are no volunteers within 50 miles of Woodstock. I would be very thankful if you could tackle this when (and if) you find yourself in that area. I will look to see if there are more names, to make it worth your while!! Carol | | | RememberMe
