Bio and Links
Bio Photo Often say that if you draw a circle 50 miles around from where I was born, Elmira, NY, you will have my family history for over 200 years. A true "Twin Tiers" family history!

A major thank you to Don who had done a fabulous job in loading the cemetery but unfortunately, with his passing he did not establish a steward to allow for changes or transfers. In October of 2011 I volunteered to take on Watson Cemetery in Tioga County, PA. and FindaGrave was kind enough to make the switch in November.

I am more than happy to help with what I can and will be more than happy to add information or transfer management of memorials under Find A Grave guidleines for anyone who would like to update their loved ones.

Leon J. Sass memorial
Thank you so much for adding his obit. My husband, Leon's stepson, will appreciate that. He loved Leon. Leon was such a good man to my husband and his mother. I'm not sure how he got so sick, but he moved to St. Petersburg to live with his brother (that happened after their divorce), and that's where he passed away. She never remarried, I guess he didn't either.

Where is his obit? Yes, he and my other-in-law Doris Mann Sass were divorced. I will delete my memorial for him. I thought he was buried in Florida.

RE: Frank C Avery
Hi Jim,

Thanks for that. William Avery is my brick wall for my Avery line. Where did you get the name Chase? I'm been searching for Frank's middle name for years and other family historians have been searching for decades. We are all stumped when it comes to who Frank C Avery's father is.

Roseville
Jim
An additional big problem with Watson Roseville is subtle, but causing problems in sorting, etc.
Many of the graves have SPACE character leading the first, middle, and last name. That breaks proper sorting. So if you can get after some of them as the grave manager, I will submit some to you as corrections. Expect MANY.

And I alerted FindAGrave, there is something wrong with the indexing and sorting of graves in this cemetery, so name searches, even paging grave by grave is problematic.
