CARLISLE - Eugene L. Richcreek, 63, of Newville RD3 died Sunday in Carlisle Hospital.
He was an Army veteran of World War II and formerly was employed by Daily Express and John F. Walters Inc.
Surviving are his wife, Ronalda Warner Richcreek; three daughters, Sandra R. Stambaugh, Norma Myers, and Vicki Nickey, all of Newville RD 3; three brothers, Charles "Bill" and James, both of Carlisle, and Sylvan of Newville; five sisters, Ethel Bitner, Doris Bitner, Mary Reed, Shirley Dunbar, and Margaret "Peggy" Sheriff, all of Carlisle; and six grandchildren.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the Hoffman-Roth Funeral Home with the Rev. Daniel R. Mikesell officiating. Burial will be in Westminster Memorial Gardens, North Middleton Twp.
The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. Wednesday until time of the services at the funeral home. | | | Judith Warner Bookwalter

William Riggleman, who died July 2, was buried at McClure's Gap in the Church of God graveyard. His wife and six children survive.

Mrs. Bertha F. Richcreek, 78, of RD 2 North Middleton Twp., died this morning at the Carlisle Hospital.
Mrs. Richcreek was born in Cumberland County, Feb. 2, 1895 the daughter of the late William and Anna Finkenbinder Riggleman and was the widow of David H. Richcreek.
She attended the Holiness Christian Church and was a member of the Golden Age Club.
Surviving are four sons, Charles W., RD 3 Newville; James A., 158 D St., Sylvan J., 457 N. Pitt St., and Eugene L., RD 3 Newville; five daughters, Mrs. Ethel Bitner, with whom she lived, Mrs. Doris A. Bitner, RD 4 Carlisle, Mrs. Mary Ellen Reed, Allen, Mrs. Shirley M. Dunbar, 1075 Rebecca St. and Mrs. Margaret Sheriff, 1921 Fry Ave., 25 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
The funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday from the Hoffman Funeral Home, 219 N. Hanover St. with the Rev. Albert E. Kehler officiating. Burial will be in McClure's Gap Church of God Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home Tuesday evening from 7 to 9 p.m.

Charles K. Chronister, RD 3, Newville, died yesterday afternoon at his home. He was 79 years old.
Mr. Chronister was the son of the late Calvin and Maria Thumma Chronister and was a member of the McClure's Gap Sunday School.
He is survived by a daughter and two sons, Mrs. Maria Warner and Row W. Chronister, both of RD 3, Newville, and Floyd O. Chronister, RD 4; a brother, John Chronister, RD 3, Newville, nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday morning at 10:30 o'clock in the Shulenberger and Roth Funeral Home, 169 West High Street. Rev. A. E. Siple will officiate. Burial will be in McClure's Gap Cemetery. Friends may call on Wednesday night at the funeral home. | | |
