I started tombstone rubbing in early to mid 1970s with my sister. But now I love driving through cemeteries with my camera. It is so relaxing,I could do this for hours and hours or when I run low on gas. I love walking though cemeteries big and small in the city or in the couniry out in the woods I have heard gun shots and backed right out of the cemetery, I have been ate up by jiggers, hunreds of ticks hanging on me,I have gotten lost for a short time in big cemeteries I have been stuck in the mud, rained on and There is nothing prettier on a spring day with song birds singing and dogwood and redbud trees blooming or on a hot beautiful sunny day or in the fall colors of the laves are awsome and in the snow it looks like a black and white photo.Did I tell you iam a ghost hunter too, and thats is why I love doing what I do.

Very funny honey. By the time I get the dang book done I'll need a new picture of you for the cover as you will be a lot older... thanks for keeping tabs on me. Actually, I am going to put it on line rather than publish. I have my Chatfield line up and half done.

If you please:
I see that you have taken several photos in this cemetery in Afton, Missouri. I am trying to confirm that Margaret Busch and husband, Edward are buried there. She died August 24, 2001 in St. Louis.
They are family, and I would enter memorials if I could be sure. If I find they are there I would request a photo.
I would appreciate any information you could send me.

Hi Sonny, I have add the pictures for Alice Hoy Kratz,
Catherine Hoy Shore, adn Minerva Hoy Konizesky to each of their sites, crediting the pictures to you. Is it possible for you to go to the mother's site, Frances Annie Cobb Hoy, and delete just the three girls as they are on their own now?

Dear Sonny,
I cannot thank you enough for the headstone pictures for Catherine Hoy and her daughters, Catherine, Alice, and Genevieve. The pictures are wonderful, and helped me fill in records I had not previously uncovered. I created a Find A Grave site for each of the daughters and would like to add their headstones to their individual pages. Is that something I can do or would you like to, and did you choose to remain anonymous as the photographer or was that an oversight. I am also writing a Hoy history and would like permission to use your pictures in my book.

My great aunt Bernice A. Student married Edward Delbringge in St. Louis. I know she passed away in 1986, I went to the funeral. I am currently working on my genealogy after spending 20 years in the Navy. Delbringge is not a very common name and when I saw it I immediately wanted to contact you.
