Thanks to my Mother; Mary Eugenia (Whisman) Davis I have quite an extensive Family Tree. Some of them go back 10 and 12 generations.
I am a first generation Michigangander, but the first three generations of my ancestors all lived in Southeast Kentucky, Lee and Wolfe Counties for the most part. Before that most of them came from Virginia and North Carolina.
The last few years I have been on a quest to find and photograph as many of my ancestors gravesites or cemeteries as I can find. So far I have pictures of all of the first three generations, that includes; Father, Mother, all Grandfathers and Grandmothers all Great Grandfathers and Great Grandmothers,2 G.G Grandfathers and G.G. Grandmothers, 2 G.G.G. Grandfathers and G.G.G. Grandmothers and 1 G.G.G.G. Grandfather.
Some of my lines are: Davis, Whisman, Creech, Parsons, Tutt, Evans, Stamper, Pennington, Hieronymus, Crawford, Spencer and Hanks.
Some grave sites that I am currently looking for:
William Micheal Whisman and Isabella (Spencer) Whisman, Whisman Cemetery, Booth Ridge, Wolfe Co. Ky.
Henry Evans Sr. and Lucinda (Hanks) Evans, Canyon Falls, Lee Co. Ky.
James B. Stamper and Tamer (Tolson) Stamper, Stamper Cemetery, Grassy Creek, Morgan Co. Ky.
William Stamper and Emily Stamper, Stamper Cemetery, Grassy Creek, Morgan Co. Ky.
Dr William A. Tutt and Sarah (Stamper) Tutt, Faulkner-Tutt Cemetery, Wolfe Co. Ky.
GPS co-ordinates are great.
I am a first generation Michigander but every drop of blood in my body came from Southeast Kentucky. | |

 | RE: Stamper Cemetery Hi. I actually found several Stamper Cemeteries --- in Lee county, KY, Morgan county, KY, and Wolfe county, KY.... Plus, there a lots of Stampers buried in Kentucky in other named cemeteries.
Here is an Online Map I finally found of Grassy Creek - a street map and satellite map of Grassy Creek, Morgan County, Kentucky on Googlemap...
http://24timezones.com/mapa/usa/ky_morgan/grassy_creek.htm
Hope this helps. I found quite a few posts on online boards of people asking for directions to that same cemetery and all anyone really said was ask at a hotel counter or funeral home in the area....Hope this helps map....Too bad the member who created that Stamper cemetery on F.A.G. didn't have more information about it...no way to tell who created it either... ;D | | | J. | RE: Location of cemetery I am not certain of the location of this cemetery, the photo of the marker was sent to me to be added to the memorial. Sorry that I couldn't be of more help. You might want to contact the local library there, they might be able to provide more information. | | | rhondajo
 | RE: Stamper Cem. Wolfe Co Ky I'm so sorry, I don't know where it is. I found the information on line. If I find out I'll let you know.
