I'm retired, have been doing genealogical research for the past 20 years, primarily in Darlington County, SC. Most all of the memorials I've added are of relatives of my wife, who is from the Lamar area of the county. Many are "distant" relatives. If you are related to anyone that I've memorialized and would like to add a bio, picture, or other info to the memorial I would very much appreciate the help. If you are closely related to the individuals, within Findagrave guidelines (siblings, parents, grandparents, or great-grand parents) and would like management privileges transferred to you please let me know.|

Thank you for taking photos and sending me updated information, too.

His mother was the second wife of John Dewitte Chapman--Mary Lillie. Charles married my great-aunt Rose Linton. Thanks in advance for making the correction. I appreciate all that you do!

I'm not sure how or why I set up the memorial for William Rolla, but I know he is not an ancestor of mine. I see that you are doing great work on that area, so I'm transfer him to you. Thanks so much for letting me know the dates were war records not birth and death dates.
|Lee Wardlaw||Patterson Wardlaw|
Hello, Patrick! Thanks so much for creating the memorial about my great-grandfather, Dr. Patterson Wardlaw of South Carolina. If you have a moment, would you mind updating the info? I'd like to include my grandfather as one of the children listed. His name was Joseph Patterson Wardlaw, born 1898, died 1974. Thanks much!

Patrick, thank you so much for the photo. I really appreciate it. Best regards, Jason.
|J. Butler||Whiteford Butler|
Patrick, thank you again for the correction and grave marker. Sincerely grateful. "Thank you." My great-aunt who is Whiteford's daughter insists there is an 'e' in his name. Out of respect for her, I leave it there :).
