I am documenting burials in the following cemeteries in Hancock County, Ill.: Fountain Green, Hadley, St. Simon (a.k.a. Lincoln or Lincoln Catholic), Majorville, Roberts, Webster, Willis, Wright, Yetter. Also Friendship and Hills Grove in McDonough County, Ill. Links to these cemeteries are located on my homepage.
I implore Find A Grave members to seek out tombstones which have not been documented. We all have family trees in which there are persons for whom we have no evidence of when or where they died and were buried.
Please familiarize yourself with the guidelines outlined in the "Help with Find A Grave", linked at left, particularly those under the Working With Photos heading:
--Can I add a photo that I found on a different website?
--Someone posted my copyrighted photos! How can I get them removed or get them properly credited?
--I found a photo of a relative on Find A Grave, can I use it?
The above questions and answers are in agreement with standards approved by the National Genealogical Society
Unless otherwise stated by the contributor, no tombstone photographs taken after 1989 are in public domain. If you are creating your own family tree on another website, please respect the copyright of the contributor.
Please do not post death certificates - would you tape a death certificate to someone's tombstone?!? Please do not add bio information with virtual flowers.

I received your note of my great grandfather, Robert Lee Cox.....
Have you actually seen his gravesite at Glade City .. or is that just an assumption?
The reason is because I have seen his death certificate .. and it plainly states: Blandinsville Cemetery.
If you have indeed seen his gravesite, is it possible for me to get a photograph of his tombstone?

Thank you for the information on Jennie Martin & Martha Jane Keys. Your work on Martha Jane's children is beautiful! I got Sophronia Davis's obituary (at Maple Grove) in same day's email so I am one happy find-a-graver. Plotting out my first spring trip - I hurt an Achilles tendon in Jan. - so stupid! so I haven't been walking much this winter. Thank you for notifying me of my duplicate. Lillie & I don't quite agree on the date of birth, but not far different. I am going to leave my memorial up until I can get the Find A Grave staff to merge the two, as I have a lot more information than Lillie has.

Thank you for taking the time to let me know of a possible duplicate memorial. I did some research, and it turns out that Claude Creasy #71299011 is the father of Claude Creasey #71299010.
